Only one person at gas station and all he does is yell at people “no self service at NJ , put it back” awesome!

For me to leave a bad review, it has to be worst than bad. I’m a people person and nothing ever surprises me. But this Sunoco station was the worst stop I’ve had since dealing with nasty people at gas stations during Super Storm Sandy. My family and I stopped to gas my daughter’s little Hyundai and we saw several signs that read “Long Hoses Use Both Lanes” with arrows pointing to both sides of the pumps. We left the very long line with all cars having their fuel fill doors on the driver’s side and pulled up to a pump on our right and tight to the curb. “Small car” every hose I’ve ever done this with reaches without stretching them. Plus, remember the signs? The attendant yells out “Hey…Where not doing that” I said, “But we left the line based on what the signs said.” He replied in a very wise guy attitude, “Never mind what the sign says, listen to what I say, we’re not stretching any hoses today. Fill gotta be by pump.” So I asked my wife to turn the car around and as soon as she stopped, he yelled out “We ain’t doing that either, car gotta face other way.” I said, “ok but we’re already here now can we just make an exception we’ll fill up real quick.” (The car only needed about 7 gallons to fill it) He again stated in a wise guy tone, “Nope, gotta be other way.” Not only was there a line of cars waiting but most of the pumps were blocked off and some looked like they’d been tampered with. After all was said and done, I’m glad I left there without swiping my card. Who knows what could’ve been installed in the pump. I understand things break, employees fail to show up, maybe he had to use the toilet and had no one to fill in for him but… At the very least, train your employee to speak to paying customers with a respectful attitude. Needless to say, that was the last time I would be stopping at this Sunoco. Funniest thing, I tip full service gas attendants, bet this attendant’s attitude did’t work so well for him today.

I should have the right to pump my own gas. I gave four star for the attendants. They loose tips when the customer doesn’t have cash. They are very gracious when you tell them you don’t have cash to tip them. Gas was high. Very convenient location.

Rude gas attendant. My husband went to get gas as I went with the kids and other passengers to use the restroom. Kids were having trouble with getting buckled into their car seat and we were helping them . Gas attendant asked my husband to move and he politely apologized and explained the issue. Guy kept yelling at us to move, that we were blocking other people (there was plenty of room). I told him I wasn't going to move the vehicle with my kids unbuckled when people could just go around us and he was basically just being a jerk. It got ugly enough that he and my husband almost came to blows . A guy Kevin, who claimed he was in charge, said he would speak to him, but I have doubts customer service is a thing there, based on previous reviews about rudeness going unchecked.
