Speedway Customer Reviews

Almost always has the cheapest gas in town. Their beer selection is alright. They have good deals on the food but the quality is questionable. It's what you'd expect for gas station food. You can save some money if you catch their deals. Apparently the speedway card is good but I can't be bothered with that. I really only stop here for gas, which gives next to nothing in terms of speedway points for your card. If you wanna utilize that you get the best results buying food and their special weekly deals. At the end of the day, the place is alright. 👍

I usually come here just to get gas with the speedway rewards discount and most of the time I just use my card. I will very occasionally use cash when I have a lot on me that I just want to get rid of. Anyways, every time I come in with cash later in the evening theres usually only one employee that looks to be in his early 20s. And every time I have to interact with this employee he always gives me attitude and gives me the vibe that it’s such a burden for him to have to do a minute long exchange. I get working retail is exhausting. Dealing with the general public is an absolute nightmare most of the time and I would know this because I work retail myself. But in order to succeed in retail you need to put on a nice face and just grit through it. When I go into any public facing store, I expect the absolute bare minimum in terms of service and even though it’s just a gas station, there needs to be a certain standard set for everyone. I shouldn’t feel bad or like I’m a burden just because I want to use cash at a gas station simple as that.

I come here for the drinks. They usually have a great supply of soda and energy drinks. But today I’m here for the Post Malone Oreo Cookies.

Unfortunately it wasn't a total positive experience with the Speedway. I went in looking to get some lunch and a Slurpee. I got the Slurpee (Coke Zero Oreo - the best!), but when I went to their hot food case there was one lonely leftover breakfast item that should have been pulled hours ago (As it was now 3:15pm), and not one single lunch item in the case at all. As I cashed out for (just) the Slurpee, I happened to mention to the cashier that it would have been nice if I was able to grab a hot sandwich for lunch, to which he snottily replied; "She's making them now" and when I mentioned they maybe want to start lunch earlier than 3:15 pm (like noon, or 1 pm the latest), he gave me a "tsk" like sound (like saying "whatever"). Not a nice way to talk to your customers. Also not a way to keep lunch sandwiches up during "LUNCH".😡👎🏼👎🏼 (Also, I didn't catch the guy's name who rang me up on Rose G.'s register - no name tag)🤷🏼‍♂️
