I had the same experience as Mr. Burnett, regarding the petrol attendant who is also the owner. He lives quite literally down the block from the station and for a business he owns you'd think he would be more friendly...One time I came to fill my tires with air and was yelled at by the owner. He believed I was trying to go to the restaurant next door....despite the fact I had left my vehicle and come into the office asking for change for a dollar to use the pump.

The older black gas attendant called me a mother f@&er and a cracker because I wanted the key to the bathroom. Completely unacceptable in this day and age. Totally out of nowhere too.

Not sure what the mechanic is like but the filling station portion of this place is horrible. The absolute worst service from the most rude owner and attendants I've ever experienced. All this for an extra 15 cents a gallon over nearby stations.

For the past six years, the Exxon in South Orange (G&V Car Care) has serviced my 2003 VW Jetta TDI. John and Gary have always performed work of the highest quality. They are honest, fair, and quick, and they take pride in their work. Recently, they put a new alternator in my car. The replacement alternator was faulty (due to no fault of their own!), and they replaced it for free, including labor. They are talented mechanics and right-minded businessmen who care about their customers. I highly recommend their garage!
