Delta Gas Customer Reviews

Came here last week to get gas in my car only for my car to die 2 days later. Brought it to the dealership for repairs and found out that the gas was mixed with water with a ratio 50% gas and 50% water.

Except for one employee who is friendly and has his head on his shoulders, the owners here are extremely rude and curse out their customers and call them racist. I live in the neighboring town and I come here often to get gas. The prices are among the lowest in the neighborhood and have never had a problem with the quality of the gas. I came here once in December or November on a very cold day and the employee that was pumping the gas had no gloves. I gave him my gloves and drove away. Today end of February 2024 I came to get gas. An older guy in his 50s or 60s shouted at me cash or card. I was outside my car in the rain fiddling with my wiper blades. I didn't hear what the The guy said, so I said what? He said cash or card again, I heard in this time, and I called back loudly cash. He immediately started cursing at me and apparently wasn't going to serve me gas. I finished with my wiper blade, and then went over to see what was going on, he continued to curse at me and said I'm racist. At this point the only exchange we had between the two of us consisted of three different words, which was cash, card, or the word or. He obviously got confused about something and it's his right not to serve any particular customer. But I was insistent that I wanted to speak to the owner and lodge a complaint. He said he was the owner but I didn't believe him, although it's not entirely impossible for the owner to be pumping gas at a gas station, it's usually an employee. I said I want to speak to the owner or give me the owner's phone number, he continued to curse at me. I refuse to move my car or my person until I spoke to the owner. Another guy came out of the mechanics Bay, and he claimed he was the owner. I found that odd because the other guy said he was the owner. He tried to get the story from his brother uncle dad co-owner I have no idea, I said I wanted an apology and I'll leave. He said we're not giving us an apology. At this point I probably started getting angrier and began cursing. I didn't leave for another 20 minutes until the police came. They were very cordial. I know I became a passive aggressive you know what, but I still feel I was entitled to an apology. I do not feel that they owe me any gas, as it's there right to refuse service. Looking at the few reviews on Google, it appears at least half of the other customers have the same interaction except, they are probably adult enough not to be as passive aggressive as I was.

Do yourself a favor and stay clear from this gas station. The employee at this gas station seems unstable. And going off some of these other reviews, it only confirms it. He’s very suspicious and unprofessional. Let me give you a little story time. I was at this gas station about a week ago. I provided the attendant with my credit card which he inserted into the pump. He withdrew it and told me to drive to one next to it because this one wasn’t working. No problem. But he then proceeded to ask me for my card again and I swear he said “Can I use your card to take a video to send my boss?” I said “Why do you need a video?” He replied “It’s so he can see that the pump isn’t working.” I asked “Can’t you just tell him it’s not working?” He said “No I can’t. It’s not like that.” I said “Sorry, I’m just not comfortable with a video.” I don’t know about anyone else but I’m just not comfortable with someone taking a video while they’re in possession of my credit card. And I don’t feel obligated to partake in such. When I got there today the man refused to come out of the building. He kept me waiting there for upwards of five minutes and finally came up to the window and angrily waved no and shook his hands and head. This kind of behavior is highly uncalled for and justifiable. I will definitely not be going to this location again. This man is rude and doesn’t seem to be stable. I never leave reviews for places unless I absolutely love them. This is my first time leaving a negative review.

One of the places to get cheap gas in NJ. It's a small station so be ready to wait on busy days

I go to this station every other week or so. The night attendant is rude and slow, but it's cheap. Last night he tried to order me to turn my car sideways so I could fit behind a car. I didn't think I would fit and said I would wait, no problem. What did he do? He went inside, refused to fill me up, and pretended the station was closed! I will take my business to the other Delta down the street until this attendant is fired, and advise everyone else to do the same!
