Byrne Dairy & Deli Customer Reviews

Walk in at 12:53 after buying 60$ worth of gas and I’m told that she can’t make me a sandwich because she’s got 4 pizzas on the deli glass and “I’ve got all this I need to get done before 4o clock” Um.. it’s 1 am.. I’m pretty sure you can get 4 pizzas prepared and in the fridge for morning crew by then. Last time I checked the customer comes first. Guess I’ll be no longer spending hundreds of dollars in gas each week passing through from Whitney point to Tully here anymore. The Mobile is the same price. I just wanted to buy local. Nope. Not anymore. Way to go. Thousands in gas a month over a freaking sandwich. Way to go Byrne!!! Way!!! Tooooo!! GOOOO!!!! I’ll be telling my family full of Byrne lovers that this company no longer cares about its customers and to buy milk from elsewhere from now on too. With my over 10k followers I’ll be putting this on social media as well. Thousandssssss a month… because one employee couldn’t make me a sandwich. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 great establishment ya got here!

I just graduated school today and decided to go to Byrne dairy to get a sandwich and some ice cream. The staff at Byrne dairy has always treated me with exceptional service and I am super grateful for their excellent products and staff over my 4 years of college. I would love to personally thank Sue for making my day with her big heart. Their products are great tasting and have great ingredients and it's always a pleasure going to any Byrne Dairy. Next time I am in the Central NY area, whenever that will be, I would love to return.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in to purchase a Byrne Dairy chocolate milk and left empty-handed due to poor customer service. One male employee seemed completely disengaged, and no effort was made to assist me. This location appears to be overstaffed yet inefficient—several employees were present both inside and outside, but only one cashier was actively working. The other stood at his register without acknowledging customers or offering help. As someone who works as a barista and cashier, I understand the challenges of customer service. However, the lack of communication and urgency here was unacceptable. While the Ithaca location is often understaffed, at least the employees there make an effort to take care of customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. It’s not worth spending your hard-earned money where you’re not respected or helped.

Terrible, 6 employees standing around in the food prep are and 1 cashier. 8 customers in line to check out. Sad, use tobe a clean, l, customer friendly store.

This place had a dirty kitchen and when we tried to order food we were met with poor customer service. When we ordered we asked if we can have our food made fresh and they tried making us take out of the hot box food. We asked for fresh and was told "the food is fresh in the warm box over there". Then the staff proceeded to argue with us and we asked to speak to the manager and the manager was the one that ended up being the person causing the issues. The sandwich station was dirty and gross. So we decided not to order and told them they were being extremely rude and they decided to kick out our whole crew saying "we aren't going to serve orange shirts". So no one could get anything because of their poor attitude and they got mad because we asked for fresh food not food that could've been sitting there for a while. We were nice and respectful saying please and thank you until they decided to be hostile towards us and then declined serving us anything in the store. The staff was not friendly at all they all looked greasy and gross touch her hair before touching food. Trash scattered across the kitchen and floors. The "manager" was mad that we wanted fresh food like how hard is it to make food fresh for a customer. That establishment is a disgrace to the store they work for. So don't go here if you want fresh food made because you will be verbally attacked and kicked out by the staff. They don't make fresh food here. They don't have their coolers stocked up and freezers. Don't recommend going here.
