I have a membership at a different co up in North NJ. I REALLY like this car wash here in Toms River. They have a free bug wash that you have to pre treat your car. I didn't sign up for a membership here. First time here. They provide free towels for you to dry your car and free vacuums! They even have a FREE mat service where you can put the dirty mats in. You can wash them and dry them yourself. If you are not lazy and care for your car, this is the car wash for you.

I’m out on Mod Wash. If you want to pay and have a full service experience where your car is dried and your interior is wiped down and vacuumed, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!! The concept is fine, pick a package and pay at the kiosk, stay in the car, go through the wash and pull out. Then the expectation is you will pull over to a vacuum and dry the car yourself. Maybe I’m lazy or have been spoiled, this isn’t for me. If i feel like doing it myself I’ll do it at home and do a nice job. $13 for a basic exterior wash was fine I guess although I had to go home and clean the spots that weren’t cleaned and dry the car. FYI my car is two weeks old, it was detailed prior to leaving the dealer and wasn’t super dirty (see rear window after wash) For whatever it’s worth the place is nice and new and they have lots of employees directing you.

I’ve never seen such a poor-quality wash for the price. $31 plus tax for an exterior wash—and that’s all you get. No window cleaning, no wipe-down, no interior cleaning, and not even a vacuum. Their drying system is practically nonexistent, leaving my entire car needing a wipe-down. My rims were still wet and barely cleaned, which is unacceptable at this price point. I wanted to be fair, so I gave them a second chance after their opening. As a Level 8 Local Guide with over 130 million views, I take my reviews seriously and hoped they’d work out the kinks after a month. Unfortunately, they didn’t. It also makes me wonder—what took them four years to build? They put up the “Coming Soon” sign around COVID, yet the results don’t reflect a $5 million build-out. Oddly enough, they don’t accept cash either. You can tell this is a bank-owned, CPA-run business that only cares about scaling for a takeover by BlackRock or another major firm. They focus on volume, not quality. I gave them every chance to impress me, but after two disappointing visits, I won’t be giving them a third. Save your money.

This is my new fav car wash. The place is huge with brand new technology. Love the fact they have free vacuums. Highly recommended. 🫧🫧🫧

Mod car wash is great very friendly and the general manager is a very great guy and the equipment is quality. Vacuums are great and powerful even has air hose to blow excess water on your car or for inside the vehicle. Even had a cool machine in here I never seen before called a ModMat cleaner and it’s a machine you put your car mat in (mine is cloth) and it completely washes and drys it for you I definitely recommend this place!
