Went to Willy's for a transmission. The transmission is fine, but it took a long time and lot of excuses before it was finished (about two months). In the process of putting it in, they cracked the exhaust pipe, so now the car runs loudly. I went back to have them double check the transmission, and Ryan claimed and pretended to check my transmission fluid, but he didn't actually check it. Also, my car was put back together very poorly and my tire alignment was way off. Took it to someone else for alignment and had to have my tires replaced because they were quickly worn from the bad alignment done at Willy's. Disappointed with the service overall.

Ryan came to the rescue on a Sunday when my son's new car wouldn't start. My son is new to Forest City and knowing a trustworthy mechanic hadn't become a necessity yet. We contacted Ryan through FB Messenger and within an hour my son's car was running and he was able to get to work. Ryan let us know that Willy's Garage also does onsite oil changes, which we will definitely be taking advantage of. Ryan's honest, quick response to my son's desperate situation earned way more than 5 stars in my book! Ryan posted his # for 24 hour service on the Willy's Garage FB page. I recommend anyone in Forest City, IA give Ryan a call to take advantage of his expertise and excellent customer service!

Put the reveiw for a friend. Haven't actually come here myself. But maybe have more communication with your customers? Dont tell someone you will be working on their car that day and make excuses why it couldn't get done. If prior plans were made the customer should have been told when their car would actually be getting fixed. Not a text late at night after it wasn't done. Gave more stars because mels car always gets done on time.

Don't bother calling Willy's. I had an appointment at 11:00 for an oil change on a gas motor home and a Honda car. I showed up at 11 and no Willy at that address. The store looked empty and the neighbor said they hadn't seen him in several days.

Prices were understandable, car runs great now. Very nice owner who was easy to work with. Highly recommend! Prices cheaper then anywhere I’ve been before. Thank you Ryan and staff!!
