Information regarding the specific environment of Wilder's Auto Service is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, as a local auto repair station, one might typically expect a service garage setting equipped with the necessary tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment to perform various automotive repairs and maintenance. There would likely be a reception area for customers to check in their vehicles and discuss their service needs with the staff. The overall atmosphere would likely be focused on the functionality of the repair services provided.

Wilder's Auto Service, as an Auto Repair Station, likely offers a range of automotive services to address the maintenance and repair needs of vehicles. Based on the customer reviews, these services include tire repair, battery replacement, upper control arm replacement, tie rod end replacement, and wheel alignment. It can be inferred that they also offer general mechanical repairs and maintenance, although the full scope of their services is not explicitly listed. Customers can likely bring their vehicles in for various issues, from routine maintenance to more complex mechanical repairs.

The features of Wilder's Auto Service, as perceived by customers, present a mixed picture. One customer review praises "fast friendly service with real affordable prices," specifically mentioning a job involving upper control arm replacement, tie rod ends, and an alignment that was completed quickly. This suggests that Wilder's Auto Service can provide efficient service at prices deemed affordable by some customers. This positive experience highlights the potential for satisfactory service delivery.

However, another customer review details multiple negative experiences, raising concerns about pricing transparency, service quality, and customer service. This review alleges being overcharged for services not fully rendered (tire repair) and experiencing a battery replacement that was initiated without explicit consent, bypassing a warranty claim. The customer also questioned the labor fee for a seemingly straightforward battery replacement and the parity in labor cost between a complete tire repair (which was not done) and simply installing a donut spare. This feedback suggests potential issues with billing practices, communication regarding service limitations, and overall customer satisfaction in certain instances.

Given the conflicting customer experiences, it is challenging to definitively highlight specific positive features without acknowledging the concerns raised. The positive review suggests that fast and affordable service is a potential feature, while the negative review indicates potential issues with pricing transparency, unauthorized services, and the value perceived for the cost. It is important for prospective customers to be aware of these differing perspectives when considering Wilder's Auto Service.

There is no information provided regarding specific promotional activities or discounts offered by Wilder's Auto Service. Auto repair stations sometimes offer seasonal specials, discounts on bundled services, or introductory offers for new customers. To learn about any potential promotions at Wilder's Auto Service, it would be best to contact them directly via phone or inquire when visiting their location in Hastings, Michigan. Local auto repair shops may also communicate promotions through local advertising or word-of-mouth.

In conclusion, Wilder's Auto Service in Hastings, Michigan, operates as a local Auto Repair Station offering a range of automotive services, including tire repair, battery replacement, and alignment, among others. Customer reviews present a mixed perspective, with one praising fast and affordable service, while another reports issues with overcharging, unauthorized services, and poor customer service. Wilder's Auto Service Customer Reviews

Been ripped off every time I've gone. This last time, was told ~$385 for tire repair & battery replacement, got told they couldn't fix the tire, and still got charged the initial price. Told me my battery is the problem, and they were already replacing it before I could say no and do a trade-in with the one I had covered by warranty. I’d understand the high labor fee more had I not ensured they’d have complete and easy access to the battery, to the point it was basically just a quick pop in & out job, and had they actually repaired the tire. Complete tire repair vs popping on the donut I already had should not cost the same in labor. I don't see how this is worth the price, and the customer service is bad on top of it all. I love to support local businesses, but I can no longer recommend this one.

They went above and beyond to help me figure out a weird issue with my car, still cannot thank them enough for all their active efforts!! My husband and I will only be utilizing Wilders for our vehicle repairs, we trust them.

I took my vehicle in for turn signal and running light, rear brakes, caddilidic converter, and steering knuckle. The left turn signal is still faulty and I told them it was a working issue, the running light is still out, the brakes are squealing, the check engine light is still on due to the converter and the power steering pump is now making noises. Upon calling them and reporting it they treated me like a dumb female. And then kicked me out of the shop for creating a facebook post about it when I have all of 5 friends. They are crooked. Stay as far away as possible. I’ll be taking this to court as soon as proper repairs are done by another mechanic. I’ve also had two sets of tires put on here and out of 8 tires 6 leaked from the bead seal and valve stem. I then took them somewhere else and what would you know there were no problems.

Wilder’s has always been good to me. I always try to look into fixing any issue myself, so I generally have a good idea how much the job costs if I end up not being able/willing to fix the issue by myself. They always come in at or under the expected cost and they always give accurate ETA’s. Their stellar average review scores speak for themselves. I’ve never been given any reason to take my vehicle anywhere else and if it’s a specialty issue (transmissions, for example) they’ll refer you, with confidence, to the best place around for the job.
