Ward's Automotive & Tire Center Introduce
Ward's Automotive & Tire Center, located at 903 Pleasant Valley Ave, Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054, USA, is a local establishment providing a range of automotive repair and tire services. The center can be reached by phone at (856) 235-7661 or mobile at +1 856-235-7661. As an “Auto Repair Stations” platform category, Ward's Automotive & Tire Center aims to serve the community's needs for vehicle maintenance and repair.
While specific details about the physical environment of Ward's Automotive & Tire Center are not extensively provided, as a typical auto repair station, one can generally expect a functional and organized space. This would likely include a dedicated service bay area equipped with lifts and tools for vehicle diagnostics and repairs, a waiting area for customers, and a reception desk for inquiries and scheduling. The overall atmosphere would aim to be professional and efficient, geared towards providing timely service. Given its location in Mt Laurel Township, NJ, the center is presumably situated within an accessible area for local residents.
Ward's Automotive & Tire Center, as its name suggests, specializes in both general automotive repair and tire-related services. Based on customer feedback, their services include, but are not limited to, tire installation, tire pressure checks, and puncture repairs. Beyond tires, they also perform diagnostics for various vehicle issues, such as unusual battery drains, and address mechanical problems like tire rod replacements and control arm issues. Their comprehensive approach suggests they handle a wide array of common car ailments, aiming to be a one-stop shop for basic to more complex vehicle concerns.
One of the prominent features highlighted in customer reviews is the apparent dedication of certain staff members, particularly Patrick, who is lauded for providing "outstanding service and care." This suggests a focus on personalized attention and a willingness to go "above and beyond" for customers, as exemplified by keeping a vehicle for extra days to monitor a tricky battery drain issue. The ability to accommodate urgent needs, such as a quick tire puncture repair despite a busy schedule, indicates a commitment to customer convenience and responsiveness. The center's high ratings, as mentioned by one reviewer, also point to a generally positive reputation within the community.
However, it is important to present an objective view, and the customer reviews also highlight significant concerns. One particularly troubling account details a situation where a vehicle allegedly suffered damage and a safety issue (a tire detaching) following service at Ward's. This incident raises questions about the thoroughness of their work, diagnostic accuracy, and accountability, particularly concerning proper torqueing of lug nuts during tire installation. The customer's experience also points to issues with communication, cost estimation discrepancies, and perceived lack of responsibility from management. This suggests that while some customers experience exceptional service, inconsistencies in quality and customer resolution may occur.
While specific promotional offers are not detailed in the provided information, Ward's Automotive & Tire Center's primary promotion appears to be through its local presence and word-of-mouth reputation, driven by its high ratings. The focus on customer care, as evidenced by positive reviews, serves as an informal promotional tool, attracting customers seeking reliable and attentive service. However, the negative review serves as a crucial counterpoint, emphasizing the importance of individual customer experience and potential areas for improvement in quality control and customer complaint resolution. For local users, Ward's Automotive & Tire Center offers the convenience of a nearby repair shop that handles various automotive and tire needs, but potential customers should consider the full spectrum of customer feedback when making their decision.

Outstanding Service and Care from Wards Automotive and Patrick We can't say enough great things about the exceptional care and service we received from Patrick and the entire team at Wards Automotive. We recently had a tricky issue with one of our cars—an unusual battery drain that was tough to pin down. Patrick and the crew took on the challenge head-on, running thorough diagnostics, checking the draw, and going through multiple troubleshooting steps. They didn’t just fix the issue—they went above and beyond by keeping the car a few extra days to monitor it and make sure it started strong every morning. That kind of dedication gave us real peace of mind. Then, shortly after, our other car—a Sonata—alerted us to low tire pressure. We discovered a huge screw lodged in the tire. We called Patrick, and without hesitation, he told us to bring it right over. Despite a busy schedule and a packed shop, they took us in right away, repaired the puncture quickly, and treated us with the same kindness and professionalism we’ve come to deeply appreciate. Thank you, Patrick and the whole Wards Automotive team, for always providing service that goes above and beyond. You take exceptional care of us, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Keep up the great work—you're truly appreciated! – Linda and David

Ward motors damaged my car and put my family at risk. I have been going to Ward because they are close by and have high ratings, but after 2024 I will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone else give them their business. I took my car in to have 4 new tires put on back around September, which Ward did. However shortly after this I began to notice a rumbling/helicopter-like sound coming from under my car. I brought it back to them, they put it up on the lift and determined I needed a new front right tire rod. We replaced this for $500, immediately after I left the shop I noticed the noise even louder than before. I called them right back and explained that the issue was still there, the guy said he couldn't hear anything when he took it for a test, so I brought it back the next day and he said he could hear it now. They put it back on the lift, and told me it was my rear control arm causing the wobbling. This was after $800 on tires and $500 on the tire rod, Bob said they'd work with me to fix the control arm. When they got back to me with a quote it was almost double what they originally estimated. Bob Ward assured me that the wobbling was not a safety issue, and not an immediate repair. I had concerns because Christmas was around the corner and we would be traveling. They said it would be OK, it was safe to drive, and we could fix it after the holidays. On Christmas Eve as I'm driving my family to my mother's for dinner, my rear passenger tire came off -while we were driving-. It sheared clean off and rolled down the road, thankfully we were not on the highway and I was able to quickly pull over or it would have been a disaster. The tire rolled all the way down the street, thankfully no pedestrians were out at the time and oncoming traffic was able to avoid it. I had my girlfriend and child in the car at the time. I immediately called Ward and left an understandably angry voice mail. We called AAA who towed the car to a family members house who is also a mechanic. Both the AAA tech and my mechanic said they've never seen anything like this, and the only way for it to have happened was for the lugnuts to have been insanely overtorked when my tire was put on. When Ward called me back the day after Christmas to talk about what happened it seemed like the whole thing was an inconvenience for them. Bob didn't take any responsibility, tried to play it off even though they are the only ones to touch this car. When I started mentioning how he put my family and child in danger he rose his voice and said "Will you shut the **** up?!" ....Now I don't know if Bob is just losing it with old age or something, but when your business almost injures a family and the customer calls upset, you don't curse them out. Common sense. My mechanic fixed the whole issue for 150 bucks while Ward was happy continually having me come back in for work that not only did not solve my problem, but caused it. Update: they take no responsibility for any of this despite being my only mechanic for years, but did offer a whopping $150 in "good faith" 👍

Updated Review for Wards 1/23/2025 We can't say enough good things about Sebastian and the team at Wards Automotive and Tire Center! They always take exceptional care of us and our four cars, which we trust wholeheartedly with them. Sebastian is awesome with his customer service, always friendly, attentive, and professional. The team consistently goes above and beyond, delivering exceptional work every time. They are truly the best of the best. It's a pleasure to know that our vehicles are in such capable hands. Thank you, Sebastian and the entire Wards team, for your outstanding service! (previous review) There is no doubt as to why they have a 5.0 star review. I dropped my car off last night, and they got right to it today, thank goodness nothing was found, no charge, just absolutely GREAT A1, 10 start service! Sebastian was awesome. This is a great place to take your car, hardworking and honest individuals. I don't wish car troubles on anyone but, if you encounter something, don't hesitate to bring it to Ward's. Ask for Sebastian, again he was awesome! Thanks for the great service! David D.
