Walmart Auto Care Centers

The auto workers here were so friendly and helpful, and clearly do not work on commission like so many other places, so you know for sure they don’t try to upcharge you or convince you to get work done you don’t need. My battery corroded some of my car parts and one of the workers literally got to work scrubbing the parts down he could (and charged NOTHING for the labor!!?) and only charged me for the parts I really needed, and even then it was super cheap. I almost couldn’t believe it until I was driving away with my receipt. I am a young woman who knows very little about cars and they go out of their way to make sure you’re not getting taken advantage of or made to feel dumb- something that happens most places I go for car trouble. They put in so much extra effort and did it for free and with a smile! They really saved the day for me and my wallet today. I’ll be going to Walmart for ALL car related issues I can from now on. Thank you Walmart Auto Center!!!!!

Stripped lugs off my truck. Tech gave up and tried to hide it by putting center cap on. Was going to let me drive away not knowing I didn’t have all lug nuts on the studs. Drove down the street to LesSchwab and they had the tires mounted and fixed the incompetent tech boo boo. Save your self the headache 🤕

I called Walmart Auto Care Center to ask about an oil change, and they told me they close at 7 PM. I left work early, got there at 5:57 PM, and saw no cars in line for an oil change, just one car getting tires. But when I pulled up, the worker told me they weren’t taking any more cars because they close at 7. That makes no sense. If they stop taking cars before closing, they should’ve mentioned that on the phone. The worker wasn’t rude, but it’s still unprofessional and frustrating. I wasted time leaving work early for nothing.

Great customer service Gil and Rob were so polite and helpful. My car was serviced quickly (oil change), and the price was low. I’ll come here again for my next oil change!

It's frustrating to recount the multiple attempts I made to reach someone by phone, only to be met with ringing for 5 to 10 minutes each time. Finally connecting with a representative proved equally exasperating; not only could they not schedule an appointment for me that day, but they also couldn't provide any clarity on when the next available slot might be. Instead, they suggested I simply walk in. When I asked to check that they had the tires I needed in stock, they evaded the question, insisting it would be best for me to come in and let their staff check. Is this what passes for customer service nowadays? The lack of certainty regarding schedules is unacceptable. It's understandable that minimum wage might attract less-than-stellar employees, but effective supervision and training could alleviate these issues significantly.

You know walmart tire center is the most neglectful and annoying place to deal with. These kids are barely mechanics with no work ethic. Been waiting for new tires for them for two weeks. Im an uber driver lol. Just about ruined my life waiting for them. No tires came in, appointment was automatically canceled, no one reach out to explian. Go to costco.

Beyond terrible service. I came before they opened and waited over 2 hours for just a oil change and the car was not even touched. No one called to let me know or how long it would take. The bar code sticker they give you on the app stated that I'm not even in the system. On my previous time here it stated that it was ready in 5 minutes when they haven't even touched the car. Its unethical to manipulate the system so they cant track the long time they take. No apologies no nothing after talking to mgr. Thanks alot. Additionally, I bought and changed all new tires here on both my sedans about a year ago and to this day I have to put air in every 3-4 weeks (started 1st month) on the 2 driver side tires of both cars otherwise they will deflate enough to be undrivable. The tread on the tires are about 1/2 way used now so I need to wait unless I pay another $1-2K for new tires on both cars again 3/9/25 UPDATE I tried to avoid Walmart Auto Temecula for the above reasons but due to time/scheduling I came back (after almost a year) and it was a 180 degree difference for the better. I didn't see the usual unmotivated old employees here and everything went very smoothly. There were no games being played on the Walmart APP in terms of hiding their long service times like before. I was pleasantly surprised 😮 like shocked because I avoided this place. It appears that Walmart was responsive and changed the status quo here. I will eventually remove these negative experiences here in the future if the service continues to be as good as it was today.
