Had my vehicle serviced for a recall. Approximately a week after my recall I noticed some damage on the lift gate - as if the hatch had been opened into something. I reached out to village pointe service department to see if they could at minimum talk to their tech and review their camera feed to determine if it was something that happened while the vehicle was in their service department. Lupe- my service tech was open to hearing my concerns. He put me in contact with the manager- Berry. I have called Berry multiple times over the course of several weeks- and not once has he returned my call. At one point I told the gal that answered the phone I would wait for him to take my call. And she relayed a message to him and Berry said to just bring the vehicle in. I brought the vehicle in and Berry met me in the service bay. We did talk- he acted like he understood my concerns. I asked if he would talk to the tech who did my recall and if he would review their video- he told me he would and he would get back to me later that week. It's been 3 weeks. I have called again only to get an answering machine- and again no return call. I'm just asking for a return call and for him to do what he said he would do- review the video feed. I'm sure they will call back and feed me some line that they "reviewed" the video. But at this point, with how poor the manager's customer service is, I wouldn't believe him. Disappointed, to say the least. We have purchased two vehicles in 2024 from Village Pointe Toyota- you'd think the least they could do is to return a phone call. Will not be returning my car there for service

Edited: while I appreciate the response to my review, it would be more effective if the number they gave me didn't send me to a full voicemail box. I've tried calling twice and both times no one picked up and it wouldn't let me leave a message. Abysmal service!!!!! Original: I got an oil change here on Saturday, June 10. They also changed the enginee air filter. prior to this, the last time ANYONE even lifted the hood of the car was when I brought it here the last time for an oil change. On Monday, my check engine light came on as well as the stability control/traction warning light. I called the shop and they said it was safe to bring it in as long as the lights were not flashing. On the way in, my car flatlined on a busy road. I had low/no power steering and no power. I managed to guide it onto the shoulder, but then had to call a tow truck to get it to the shop. When they looked at it, they found that the engine air intake line was loose and the clamp had been moved. I had them show me how they change the engine filter and it very clearly showed the line moving. However, they absolutely refuse to acknowledge that they caused the damage and are refusing to reimburse me for towing fees. I talked to the manager and he said they would "work" with me and my insurance company, but that is going on two weeks ago and I've heard nothing. I am absolutely disgusted by their level of service and their ridiculous insistance that this is just a "coincidence". I will NEVER bring my car back.

Had a very bad expierence. I don't think they are truthful at all to their customers. I had gone on Wednesday to get my brakes checked and oil replacement. I was told my brakes are good. I went thier again on Friday of the same week to replace a missing screw in the undercarriage. The customer service told me the brakes needs replacement, thermostat needs replacement and that I had a wrong battery. I'm not going back here again. You can't trust anyone there.
