Victorville Mazda Service

$100 oil change. They usually just give poor service and hold my car for 3 days “for service “. They’re now charging double the price for an oil change. Go anywhere else

I took my car in for an oil change recently & my appointment was at 2 and informed the technician that I would be waiting in the waiting room for my car. I understand that I could be waiting for a long time however I received a call from the technician at 4:30 letting me know that my car was completed and hour ago and that he wasn’t sure why nobody contacted me and apparently the phone call didn’t go through and he was at lunch an hour before closing which doesn’t make sense. I did not receive a phone call or text informing me sooner (which is what they typically do, the tech just did not bother to call or come get me like he said he would) and this happens to be the second time I’ve had to wait to hear back from a technician. I also informed him of the service special I seen online but was still charged more when normally the price shown on the special is how much we typically pay for, not sure what changed. I’m very disappointed at how they treat long time customers and prefer to take my two Mazda vehicles to be serviced elsewhere. Then they send you a message that if you have any issues with your service to contact them first before leaving a bad review & the email provided is no longer valid, what a joke!

I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for Mr. Shawn Burkel (Service Advisor) and the rest of the service staff a Victorville Mazda. During this past week, my vehicle experienced several service alerts which caused me to have to make an unscheduled visit to Victorville Mazda. The first person who greeted me with a smile was Mr. Burkel. I explained my problem and despite me not having an appointment, he took in my car explaining that it his team may not be able to get to it until later in the day, which I was fine with. Mr. Burkel assisted me with a loner and I was able to still attend to my plans I had for the day. Surprisingly, in less than two hours, Mr. Burkel's team had identified my problem and expedited my service repair - I was able to get my car back on the same day! Mr. Burkel is a wonderful addition to the staff because I have been turned away before for unscheduled visits. I usually schedule visits, but I appreciate the outstanding customer service Mr. Shawn Burkel provided that day and hope that his example is the new standard for this organization.

Healthcare worker here! Service took over 35+ mins, did not close my hood correctly had to pull over on the freeway to close it. They also spilled oil all over my valve cover area. Also they did not reset my maintenance light. Just very bad service. Would rate 0 stars if it wasn't free. Will not return.
