Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Decent spot for quick change. Sitting in the car the entire time is nice but unable to see what the techs are doing underneath and around your vehicle. Some things are just based on faith, I guess. Convenience of being next to costco is key for this location.

Have been here two times in total. First time had no problem but I was there on 10/24 to get oil changed. First time driving on highway to work this morning I heard a loud scratching coming from underneath. Attached photo will show the damage as a result of not securing this plate after changing the oil. 2 stars as a credit to the first time I went with no issues. Once I get this resolved I will stick to changing it myself as I went here to save myself time but ending having to spend more time to fix a problem that did not exist before the oil change

Great customer service. Quick service . I love how the employees are diverse and that work well together as a team. They took really good care of my care. I am very happy with the service and will recommend this participation location to friends and family in the area.

Customer service was great. Got an oil change and a coolant flush done. Too over all about 45mins, I provided my own oil filter and was told their oil filters are free but no where near the quality I was bringing in and no options for in-shop upgrades. They checked my air intake filter, was going to suggest replacing it but I had just replaced it the day prior. They also did not secure my intake filter shut, there ended up being a whole screw not tightened and caused an air leak in the intake. Please when training newer employees, follow up and check on their work before sending the customers off.

I ALMOST GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE. I went to this Valvoline to get a normal routine oil change and the staff did not screw the bottom skid plate to my car after they finished the change. They pretty much just placed it on with one screw on and it came off the bottom of my car on the freeway. It continued to drag across the bottom of my car - leaving a ton of damage to the bottom of my car and almost crashing my vehicle into another car bc of this mistake. In coming to this Valvoline for the past few years, I have noticed this specific branch always seems to be constantly understaffed. Meaning that negligent accidents, such as these are probably more common than you would expect. Thankfully my health is safe but my car will need a lot of repair because of this "quick 15 min oil change". Turning this $85 oil change into a $700 repair. To make matters worse Valvoline will not help you handle these situations and have the worst customer support that I've experienced. So I'm gonna leave this review for other people to be aware and careful. Hope Valvoline will do something about putting their customers lives at risk...

I came this morning for an oil change and was assisted by a few people- the main gentleman doing my oil change appeared to be in training and his trainer was a woman wearing a beanie with glasses? Anyway they deserve recognition for their kindness and helpfulness. I particularly loved how patient and sweet the trainer was with her trainee. She had such a positive attitude and was helpful, that’s hard to come by nowadays! It was honestly a breath of fresh air to overhear coworkers being so kind to both each other and to their customers. The oil change was quick and they informed me on upcoming things I need done on my car. The trainee was so nice as well and had such a positive attitude! The manager introduced himself to me as well (forgot his name) but he was professional and made sure everything was taken care of. Thanks everyone!!! 🩷❤️

This is the first time visiting the Marina del Rey Valvoline station. The tech's were courteous, efficient and our oil change took less than 20 minutes. Overall a great job!

The manager running that place during the day is highly knowledgeable. Didn’t forget about any of the issues I brought up and I left with my car having no service lights on and tires perfect. Engine oil changes and I appreciate the woman working there keeping all the men in check
