Valley Truck Parts Inc Introduce

Located at 1900 Chicago Dr SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49519, USA, Valley Truck Parts Inc operates within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations, primarily focusing on the supply of truck parts and related services. They can be contacted at their toll-free number (800) 783-8300 or mobile at +1 800-783-8300, making them accessible to customers in and around the Grand Rapids area and potentially beyond for specialized truck components.

Information regarding the physical environment of Valley Truck Parts Inc is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, the feedback focuses on the services offered and the interactions with their personnel, particularly mentioning an individual named Kim. This suggests that while the ambiance of the store itself is not a primary focus in the available commentary, the expertise and service provided by their staff are noteworthy.

The primary service offered by Valley Truck Parts Inc, as indicated by its name, is the provision of truck parts. This likely encompasses a wide range of components for various makes and models of trucks, potentially including both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. The mention of a customer returning an 18-speed transmission under warranty suggests that they deal with significant drivetrain components. Furthermore, the positive experience with a drive shaft indicates their involvement in driveline services as well.

One customer brought in a bent drive shaft, which they believed was damaged by a previous repair shop. This suggests that Valley Truck Parts Inc not only sells parts but also has the capability to assess and potentially repair or rebuild driveline components. The interaction with Kim in the drive shaft department was particularly positive, with Kim identifying the issue and offering a solution to build a new drive shaft at a "very fair price."

A significant feature of Valley Truck Parts Inc appears to be their expertise in specialized truck components, such as transmissions and drive shafts. The ability to diagnose complex issues, as seen with the bent drive shaft, and offer solutions like building a new one in a short timeframe (a day and a half) highlights a level of technical competence within their team. The fact that the price matched the initial agreement further underscores their professionalism and integrity in pricing.

The positive experience with the drive shaft department, specifically with Kim, points to knowledgeable and helpful staff as another key feature. Kim's ability to quickly assess the problem, provide a solution, offer a fair price, and ensure the work was done promptly and effectively contributed significantly to the customer's satisfaction. The outcome – a truck with "no vibrations and smooth as glass" – speaks to the quality of their work in this area.

However, it is important to present a balanced view. One customer reported a negative experience regarding a warranty claim on an 18-speed transmission. This customer felt that their warranty claim was unfairly denied, stating that the company blamed them for the issue despite their 17 years of driving experience. This review serves as a cautionary note, suggesting that experiences with warranty claims might not always be positive. Potential customers should inquire about warranty terms and conditions before making significant purchases.

Considering their focus on truck parts, Valley Truck Parts Inc likely stocks or has access to a wide inventory of components, including engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, suspension parts, electrical components, and various other truck-related items. Their specialization in this segment of the automotive industry makes them a potentially valuable resource for truck owners and fleet operators in the Grand Rapids area and beyond.

While the provided information does not include any specific promotional details, customers interested in Valley Truck Parts Inc are encouraged to contact them directly. Inquiring about current promotions, discounts on specific parts, or any services they might be offering could yield valuable information for potential buyers. Businesses specializing in truck parts may offer bulk discounts for fleet customers or have seasonal promotions on certain items.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the full range of services offered by Valley Truck Parts Inc, local users should contact them directly. While the reviews highlight parts sales, transmission warranty issues, and drive shaft services, they may offer other related services or have access to a broader network for truck repairs and maintenance. Calling their toll-free number would be the most effective way to obtain detailed information about their capabilities and inventory.

In conclusion, Valley Truck Parts Inc in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be a key supplier of truck parts, with a noted expertise in driveline components like drive shafts. The positive customer experience with the drive shaft service, particularly the knowledgeable staff member Kim, highlights their capability to diagnose and resolve specialized truck issues efficiently and at a fair price. However, a contrasting negative experience with a transmission warranty claim suggests that customers should exercise due diligence regarding warranty terms. For truck owners and operators in the Grand Rapids area seeking specialized truck parts and potentially driveline services, Valley Truck Parts Inc is a resource to consider, with direct communication recommended to understand their full offerings and any current promotions.

Brought my drive shaft into be worked on. Found out from Kim that it was bent. I believe a previous shop that did work on it for me totally screwed it up. Kim told me that he could build me a new one in court of days and gave me a very fair price. Had it done in day and a half, with the price we agreed on. Put it back on my truck and no vibrations and smooth as glass. Kudos to the drive shaft department, thank you very much for the great job. Thank you Kim for the help. 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. 😀

I purchased a remanufactured spicer 7 speed transmission from valley about 6 months ago. I paid local truck mechanic to install. We are a local company so we dont travel far. Within 2 weeks 100 to 150 miles 6th gear had gone out! I hired another mechanic to remove transmission. We dropped it back off at distributer to send back to valley. They took it apart and told me it was our fault and they were not going to warranty. Said I could pay 1700 to get it fixed. I have another bucket truck with same transmission and we have had it for 5 years with no problems. I will never buy from them again. Save yourself the hassle and use a local company! Spoke to manager the next day 8/28/19. He insisted that it was my fault and would not warranty. Their profits are more important than honoring a warranty!

Very bad experience. We were quoted a price of $500 to do an overview on a differential. Next day we get a call and they want another $137 for new bearings. The bearings that were in it were brand new top quality. They were told we would be back the next day to pick it up and it was still in pieces and no bearings.
