I am a local in the Mercer County Community where “Valley Auto Body” is located. I support/encourage our local/small businesses. I dropped my vehicle off in July of 2022 for him to repair the holes in my rocker panels (holes are approx the size of a baseball on each side). I pick it up and think all it good- go about my life as I know nothing about body work. 2.5 weeks go by and the rockers are chipping an rusted through. I call the shop. Shane offered to fix the rockers at no extra charge so naturally I take my vehicle back to him and he states what he’s going to do. Shane kept in contact and provided pictures of each step he took in fixing my rocker panels. He seemed really decent and honest. I pick my vehicle up June 17th 2022 and while I think the rockers look fine (runs in paint - I’m really not complaining about that) I notice the weather strips are damaged by what looked like a grinder. There is over spray all over my doors (inside and out) he for some reason painted the inside of my driver door …. But what takes the cake is - HE HIT SOMETHING ON MY PASSENGER SIDE FRONT BUMPER AND SPRAYED WHITE PAINT OVER IT!!! I have a white vehicle- the paint he sprayed to cover the damage chipped and it’s just a nightmare. I contact him to find out I’m blocked- call the shop and “he practically did the work for free since he had to do it twice” *moment of silence* So, he didn’t do it right the first time and the second time he actually damages my vehicle - weather strips, paint on my leather seats and the awesome new scrap that is chipped to hell on my front bumper! Thank you SHANE from VALLEY AUTO BODY , for wasting my time & costing me more to correct the damages you ignorantly left behind.
