Needed a brake job done fast, they gave me a total and it was very high but because I needed it done, I paid it. Picked the car up Saturday night, got on the road, and within a mile *my rotor broke and my brakes partially failed.* Drove back going 15mph. Later learned the rotor separated (they said they had never seen it do that before) and they claimed to me they test drove the car. If there were more cars on the road I would've hit someone in front of me. Because of this, I missed a 4-day trip to Chicago (had booked an Airbnb.) I asked if they'd be willing to refund anything from my missed nights and they refused. They did a repair for a new rotor, but said it was on the manufacturer to refund me for my trip. I get it - it technically isn't their fault, but I wanted them to actually advocate for me and "do the right thing". I lost a few hundred dollars on my Chicago trip and overpaid for my brake / rotor job. They said they'd tell the manufacturer about my losses to see if they'd be able to reimburse me from them, and I wouldn't have left this review had they shown me the email or if they ever got a response, but I've heard nothing for about 3 weeks so here it is. On the phone one of the owners was very stern after I asked for a refund. Never going back there.

Mike, Kevin, Tom, and the other guys over here always do a fantastic job. They’re welcoming, the prices are fair, but above all else they’re always honest in their diagnosis and inspections. Their courtesy inspection is easily accessible online with photos of what they found in the inspection and a detailed breakdown of their findings. The system they use for their estimates/authorization of repairs is extremely user friendly so you understand what you’re paying for, and why you need your repairs. I’m new to the area from out of state and my local mechanic back home recommended Tuffy Troy specifically, so I visited them when my check engine light came on. They got me in same day, provided me with a thorough inspection, took care of the engine light issue and communicated with me clearly throughout the entire process. Mike and Kevin were so kind and knowledgeable, updated me on my vehicle often and made me feel welcome while I lurked around their waiting area all afternoon. Their thorough inspection was typed up and photographed and shared with me digitally as well, which I appreciated so I could reference it later and share with others. I would both recommend their services and use them again in the future!

Had a marvelous experience with Kevin and Tom!! They were absolute professionals and took great care of me and my vehicle. They took every opportunity to help correct the problem the moment I arrived but when it became evident that the issue was far more serious (snapped idler pulley) they explained everything in detail and even used illustrations to make sure I completely understood the issue. They then performed and entire vehicle safety check and then updated me on other optional repairs. I will return to them as soon as possible for my next repair! Thanks for an amazing experience especially when the issue with my car was so sudden and unexpected.

Tires is worse than when i brought it to them yesterday. Brand new tire had a nail in a salvageable part. tire held air after filling up to get there and looked good and then two hours later after leaving with a “patch” it was completely flat
