Tuffy Tire in Plainfield is great! They were super nice and very helpful! The workers were friendly, patient, and really took the time to explain why I didn't need an oil change at that time. They even said, they would feel bad taking my money because I didn't need one yet. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend their services! This service center is under new ownership. Emma reached out prior to my appointment to let me know they were running 15 minutes behind schedule. Upon arrival, Dan the mechanic did a thorough inspection of all the car systems and performed a full synthetic oil change. The service and price were excellent. I highly recommend them!

Brought my son in for his first oil change and we worked with Devin. Experience was very pleasant and easy. Gave recommendations that were legit and didn’t push anything. I feel confident having my son return himself in the future. I will also return with my vehicle for maintenance when needed.

I can say Dan was very nice. I came in for an oil change they looked at the vehicle and recommended that I have, air filter change, cabin filter change, front brakes needed changing, coolant change. I also asked for front wipers and back wiper. Everything was supposedly done except the brake and coolant change and front wipers. Front wipers they had difficulties placing them on. They had to order the air filter and back wiper from other place. I got there at 3:50pm, I was there until after they closed. I was told we were waiting for the back wiper blade. Finally, the young man brings my car to the front of the store - a man walks in with my air filter and was told to put it in my car. By this time I was looking at them alarmed because they were going to let me walk out of the store and didn’t even change the air filter. I said that is shady business. Made me think did they even do all the other things I paid for. So as I proceeded to my vehicle I then realized a piece on my front wipers was missing and I asked them for the piece they could not find it. Dan said he would try to find it if not he will order me one and replace. As of today I am still waiting (this was 2 weeks ago). Though Dan did everything to try to rectify the situation I still feel as a woman taken advantage of. I would have paid for a service that they didn’t even do and they were going to let me walk out the door knowing they had not done it or even offered me my refund. Shady business!

I was super impressed with my 1st visit to this facility. It was very clean and very organized both in the waiting room and the actual shop. People were most personable and professional. My vehicle was service immediately upon arriving for my scheduled appointment AND all services completed Devin, the store manager was most personable and professional Tuffy’s prices for services I had done were both fair and competitive
