Truck Triage

Outstanding customer service!! We were camping in Maggie Valley and our truck had some issues along the way. When we finally got to our site and got set up, we looked up a diesel mechanic and found Brooks American Diesel. I called and spoke with Kyle on the phone and told him our situation. He said he was very busy, but would do all he could to help. He ended up bringing us the parts to our campsite and helped us on his own time!! Good, honest, trustworthy business. Would definitely use them again if I'm back in the area with any issue with my truck. TOP NOTCH!!!

During a recent trip to Maggie Valley NC. we ran into fuel contamination issues in our 2011 Ford F350 diesel. We were at the end of our vacation and had been scheduled to head home that day. I contacted Kyle Brooks and although he had customers booked ,he said bring the truck up and he would see what he could do. Kyle couldn't work on the truck until that afternoon but promised he would have it ready to go that day! Kyle removed the fuel tank drained and cleared the system of the contaminated fuel. Kyle then brought the truck to our camp ground at 8:30 pm that night and picked me up so I didn't need to find a ride to his shop!! Kyle assured me no damage was done to the fuel system and we would have no issues with our truck. We left for home early the next morning arriving home that evening having no issues! Our sincere thanks to Kyle for his help, integrity and understanding !! So happy to have found Brooks Automotive in our time of need! Thanks so much Kyle!! My 2012 Dodge Ram was experiencing problems with the diesel particulate filter. As a full time RVer, this truck is our only means of transportation. We were scheduled to leave on a 2500 mile trip in four days. Kyle was able to get our truck in his shop and correct all the exhaust problems so we could leave on time. Kyle was very thorough and professional in repairing our truck. Charges were very reasonable. I will certainly continue to use Brooks Auto Diesel for all my maintanence during the six months we stay in Maggie Valley each year. I would highly recommend his shop for any repairs you might need.

I moved to Maggie 2 years ago and had yet to find a mechanic I could trust. I recently bought a new ‘used’ car and started having an issue that concerned me. I searched and Brooks Auto was close so I gave a call. Kyle was quick to answer and willing to listen to my lengthy description of what was going on. He took time to explain my options and service needs. He serviced my car that very day! He also answered all my questions about my cars condition and helped me make a plan to get ahead of future service needs. I found Kyle to be super knowledable, kind and honest. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Kyle is outstanding at diagnosing and explaining what problem your vehicle is having. He is honest, respectful, and great with his work and pricing.
