As an "Auto Repair Station" specializing in collision, Trubilt Collision Center - Altoona LLC offers a comprehensive array of services tailored to address vehicle damage resulting from accidents. Their service portfolio is designed to cover every aspect of restoration, from minor cosmetic fixes to major structural overhauls. Key services provided by Trubilt typically include:

  • Comprehensive Collision Repair: This foundational service involves the meticulous repair and replacement of damaged exterior components such as bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, and trunk lids. It addresses all visible damage to restore the vehicle's original appearance.
  • Frame and Unibody Straightening: For vehicles that have suffered significant impact, the underlying frame or unibody structure can be compromised. Trubilt utilizes advanced measuring and straightening equipment to precisely realign the vehicle's frame to manufacturer specifications, which is vital for maintaining vehicle safety, handling, and tire wear.
  • Expert Paint Matching and Refinishing: Achieving an undetectable repair requires expert paint work. Trubilt employs sophisticated color-matching technology and high-quality paint systems to ensure a seamless blend between new and existing paintwork, resulting in a factory-quality finish. This often includes multi-stage painting processes.
  • Dent Removal and Repair: This service covers a spectrum of dent repairs, from minor door dings to more substantial dents caused by collisions. They may offer both traditional dent repair methods and Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) for suitable damage where the original paint is intact.
  • Auto Glass Repair and Replacement: Collisions frequently result in damaged auto glass. Trubilt would provide services for repairing chips and cracks or complete replacement of windshields, side windows, and rear windows, ensuring proper installation and sealing.
  • Mechanical Repairs Related to Collision: Accidents can also affect mechanical components like suspension, steering, cooling systems, or air conditioning. Trubilt is equipped to handle these necessary mechanical repairs in conjunction with the body work, ensuring the vehicle is fully functional and safe to drive.
  • Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) Calibration: With the increasing prevalence of ADAS features (like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking) that rely on cameras and sensors, Trubilt would likely provide precise calibration of these systems after repairs, especially those involving windshield replacement or front-end damage.

They did a fantastic job repairing my car. Kept me updated on the progress along the way. I couldn't be happier with the work they did. I appreciate that they worked with my schedule of when I was available to pick it up. Over all 10/10 experience. They'll be one of the first people I call if I have any other accidents.

My car looks wonderful. They stayed in touch with me telling me when they started and when my car is getting painted. Just a all around great place to work with. Guys are polite and willing to answer all questions. Yes, I would go back.

Hopefully the pictures capture the story. I bought this 2000 K2500 from a friend and while there was some bubbling under the flares, which these are notorious for harboring brine that continues to fester even after washing, the fender finally gave way and thankfully the mudflap anchored it long enough for me to pull over and triage with a half roll of duct tape. The box is fine and it's interesting if you look around, it's typically one end or the other in this era. Anyway, I looked at getting a whole new-to-me set of fenders and then having them installed from a local reclaim, seemed cost prohibitive, then I went to a couple shops and finally landed with Trubuilt. Mostly, James' calm approach is what earned my business. We looked at a blending option which added about 30percent to where the doors would also be made to match the new panels. Considering this vehicle won't be going back on the showroom floor, I opted out and glad I did because it was not necessary. The panels' paint mixture was almost exact and if I had not requested the service, I'm not sure I would know they were replaced. That's just the fenders... James was available via email, phone and when he was gone I got a call to maintain continuity for dropping the vehicle off. We dropped on a Monday morning and picked up Wednesday afternoon, which was earlier than estimated. Gladly paid my reasonable invoice and while he was processing my card, I inquired about another vehicle I had for some touching up. Good work to James and his team. I appreciate it.

My truck was returned looking great! We had one hiccup when the vendor sent a bad part, but I was informed of it and they kept me up to date on the progress. I was pleased with the work and the communication.
