Tri-City Transmission

Kurt from Tri-City Transmission was absolutely fabulous! He is extremely knowledgeable and equally importantly, honest. He gave me an estimated price, which was very close to the final and helped arrange towing at a better price than AAA gave me (and my AAA was only good for 7 miles). He finished my car a day earlier than I expected. He explained the problem very well and pointed out things I should know about with my car (as a single woman who arrived here not that long ago). My car had a leak problem right after I got it back from him and he assisted completely with getting that fixed also but it was not because of the replaced tranny. He went over the top to be helpful and is a straight shooter. Do not go anywhere else, you won't get any better than Kurt.

Very nice guy working there. I thought I had a transmission issue and they hooked my car up to the code reader- didn't charge me like every other guy out there. It turned out I didn't have a transmission problem and I needed a different shop. Rather than trying to charge me when they couldn't fix my problem they told me what it was and where I could go to get it fixed. Old school quality service. If I ever have a problem in the future I would feel very comfortable going there knowing they wouldn't try to charge me for something I didn't need or take advantage of my lack of car knowledge.

If quality and attention to detail is what you want, this is the place. Kurt is a one-man shop most of the time, so don't expect it to be done overnight, but his work is solid. The shop is fastidiously clean. I am well pleased with my truck's transmission that he rebuilt.
