Tony's Auto Repair Introduce

Located at 5823 Woodland Ave #25, Philadelphia, PA 19143, USA, Tony's Auto Repair operates as an auto repair station, providing various automotive services to the local community. As part of the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, Tony's Auto Repair likely offers a range of services, potentially including general mechanical repairs, collision repairs, and auto body work. While the provided information does not detail the specific environment of the shop, a typical auto repair facility includes service bays for working on vehicles, tools and equipment necessary for different types of repairs, and an office or waiting area for customers. The size and specific layout can vary depending on the scale and focus of the business.

The services offered at Tony's Auto Repair likely encompass a variety of automotive needs. These could include mechanical repairs such as engine diagnostics and repair, brake service, suspension work, exhaust system repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting. Given one review mentions collision repair, it's probable that Tony's Auto Repair also handles auto body work, including dent repair, painting, and panel replacement resulting from accidents. The first review also indicates that air conditioning repair is a service they handle, although with specific conditions regarding when refrigerant (Freon) is purchased and presumably available for use.

The limited customer feedback for Tony's Auto Repair presents a mixed picture, with one review expressing significant dissatisfaction and another offering high praise. The negative review details several concerns. Firstly, the customer found the service to be "Too expensive" and described the owner, identified as "Asian Tony," as "very rude." The reviewer also speculates whether this rudeness was related to her gender. This personal interaction aspect raises concerns about the customer service and interpersonal skills at the shop.

Furthermore, the negative review recounts an issue with air conditioning repair. The customer had their vehicle repaired in March, requiring an air compressor. However, upon returning when the weather warmed up to use the AC, she was informed that the shop does not purchase Freon until April, implying the AC repair was not fully functional. While the reviewer acknowledges some fault in not inquiring about this at the time of the initial repair due to personal stress, it highlights a potential gap in service or communication regarding the readiness of the AC system post-repair.

Adding to the negative experience, the customer also mentions difficulties in obtaining an itemized receipt. Despite having proof of payment, she was reportedly told the owner was too busy to write it up and that she would need to return at another time during the week, which conflicted with her own working hours. This lack of administrative efficiency and inconvenience for the customer further detracts from the overall service experience reported in this review.

In stark contrast to the negative feedback, the second review offers a highly positive account. This customer states that "Tony and his crew did a great job" on their new Honda Accord, which had been damaged in a collision. They specifically commend the speed of the repair, noting that the job was completed within just a few days. Additionally, the reviewer highlights the fair pricing, mentioning that Tony charged a "great price" for them to avoid going through their insurance. Based on this experience, the customer "highly recommends" Tony's Auto Repair.

The positive review underscores the potential for quality auto body repair work at Tony's Auto Repair, completed efficiently and at a reasonable cost. This suggests that the shop may excel in certain types of repairs, particularly collision-related body work, and can offer competitive pricing, especially when customers opt to pay directly rather than through insurance claims.

No specific promotional information is included in the provided reviews. Auto repair shops may offer various promotions such as discounts on specific services, seasonal maintenance packages, or special offers for new customers. Individuals interested in Tony's Auto Repair are advised to contact them directly at (215) 724-6740 or +1 215-724-6740 to inquire about any current promotions or discounts they might be offering.

Given the limited and conflicting nature of the reviews, it is challenging to definitively state the overall features of Tony's Auto Repair. The positive review highlights quick and well-priced collision repair, while the negative review raises concerns about pricing for other services, owner demeanor, communication regarding the scope and readiness of repairs (like AC service), and administrative processes (like obtaining a receipt). Potential customers will need to weigh these contrasting experiences when considering this auto repair station.

The location of Tony's Auto Repair at 5823 Woodland Ave #25 in Philadelphia, PA, provides a local service option for residents in that area. However, the reported issues with customer service and administrative efficiency in one review might outweigh the convenience of location for some individuals. Conversely, those seeking collision repair and potentially willing to negotiate pricing might find the positive experience more relevant.

In conclusion, Tony's Auto Repair in Philadelphia, PA, presents a mixed profile based on the limited customer feedback. While one customer praised their work on collision repair for speed and price, another reported issues with high costs, perceived rudeness from the owner, and unresolved issues with a service (air conditioning) compounded by poor communication and difficulties in obtaining a receipt. Potential customers should be aware of these contrasting experiences. Those primarily seeking auto body work might find the positive review encouraging, but caution should be exercised regarding potential pricing, communication, and customer service aspects based on the negative feedback. It would be prudent for prospective customers to seek additional reviews or potentially contact Tony's Auto Repair directly to discuss their specific needs and get a clearer understanding of their current service practices and pricing.

Tony's Auto Repair Customer Reviews

Too expensive and the owner (Asian Tony) is very rude. Not sure if that’s because I’m a woman or not. I took my vehicle there only because I broke down across the street. I need an air compressor among other things. Now the weather is getting warmer and I find I have no air. This is March so I go back and he tells me “I don’t buy Freon until April come back” This is my fault though but because I was under so much stress dealing with the loss of my daughter I didn’t think to ask him about this after my car was ‘repaired’ I was able to drive it and that’s all I cared about at the time. Also I forgot to get an itemized receipt of the repairs. I had the date and amount paid on my CashApp. I stopped in to get that and was told he was too busy to write it up and I’d need to come back some other time during the week. Mind you I work day hours as well. Anyways much of this is in me. Points to consider. Hind sight is always 20/20.

Tony and his crew did a great job on my husband and I new Honda accord that I drove into a pole. He completed the job within just a few days. Also, he charged a great price for us to not go through insurance. I highly recommend him.

My car was in a minor accident and I went to Tony's for a repair job. The repair turned out really well! You would never be able to tell I was in an accident! Much appreciated to the store owner for the fix

Took my truck in because it was over heating. Took it to closet place which was Tony auto repair. He charged me 400 and started talking too much. That should already been a red flag. Didn’t have a choice and let him try to fix’s it. Came back next day and paid. 30 mins in , car started over heating and problem wasn’t fixed. This guy don’t know what he talking about. Then started talking about other stuff I should fix’s, I’ll let my 5 year old try to fix’s an issue before this guy.
