I’ve taken multiple vehicles here for 20 years. They do not value loyalty. They used to credit diagnostic fees to your repair, they used to give loaners, now they charge. The operations are now so scummy. If you talk to people, you will hear much worse. I will never buy, or have anything done at Thelen dealerships.

Story time. This will be a lengthy one but worth it if you are considering taking your vehicle here for service or purchasing a vehicle from Thelen. This happened from June 2024 to September 2024 and it has taken me this long to be able to share without explicit language. May 2024: I contacted Thelen to take in my 2001 Audi TT Quattro AWD roadster. The appointment scheduled 2 weeks out on June 6th Thelen has been the ONLY place this car has been since I bought it in 2018. 6/6: Drop car off. 6/8: Rcv call. Drain plug oil pan stripped. No parts avail for them to order. Agree I will get OEM oil pan, gasket set. As soon as parts arrive and drop off to Thelen. 6/19: Car is done. Yay 🎉 Go get the car! Drive home. **Cue AC/DC turned up, wind in hair, shades** Little later, puddle of oil on garage floor. Call Thelen. Car I just picked up leaking oil. Girl on the other end, "Um ok but we probably won't be able to get to it right away." Me: I am bringing my car back. Snap pic of oil. Back to Thelen we go. Thelen agreed issue. Here's a loaner car while we check it out.(Subaru, not Audi, at least it's a car but not a convertible or cool) July - Call to check on car. No call back. 2 day later: taking the oil pan out and replacing gaskets. Mid-July: Message left. Found defect in oil pan. Ordered another one expedited different company. Drop off asa rec'd 7/19. August. Call from Jaymes the Audi Svc Mgr. You bringing replacements? Response - dropped off 19th. End of August: Hubby gets call. Need to replace battery. It won't hold a charge. (Well, no it's been sitting in your lot for 3 weeks) New battery $200. Please get the work done so I can drive my summer car. Thursday before Labor Day, received call at 430-5pm (closing time) car is done. 🫤🤦 We were headed out Holiday wknd. P/u when get back. Side note: At some point we also approved for gas to test drive after 2 oil tank. I left it with over an 1/8th of a tank so not sure if the gas evaporated or what happened. Anyways just give me my car. So, we are back. I go to pick up the car. I drop off their Subaru. (I'm still thankful I had the rental, but upset they have had my car this long) Girl at the counter is nice enough. She gets the paperwork. I paid over $1000 the 1st time in June for the work. This new invoice is over $600 and I find out they didn't test drive the car. They kept it on the rack and ran it because the tags expired. Well, my birthday is in August so yeah, if you have a car for 3 months there's a chance that could happen. As we go over the invoice there's a charge for $25 for gas. Plus the $200 for the new battery... Etc etc. 😡😡🤬🤬 Grrrrr. I throw my credit card at the girl at the counter and tell her just ring it up. I tell I'm sorry for throwing card but I'm mad. She finishes checkout. Gives me owners cell #. Svc Mgr Jaymes comes in and says can't take car thru carwash bcuz of ragtop but will wipe windows for me. Don't do me any favors. He ask if there is a problem, I said yes. You had my car for 3 months. Then he accused us for not communicating for the weeks that the parts sat with the car. I was fuming. Best I just leave as I go out to the car, he's wiping off the windows. I get in and slam my door he said he's sorry I'm upset and as I get ready to leave he taps on my window and has the audacity to say have a nice day. Fast forward to getting home, I notice that 2 interior pieces are now broken that weren't when I left the car there. I called the owner Joe and left a message. I also rec'd a follow-up from Cust SVC manager and told her how pissed I am. She said she would let Joe know. It took 3 days. We talked. Explained the situation. He would then follow up. It's January - No return call. Since Sept. I've written on their customer service reviews and survey. I have I have told them I was going to write this review. After all of this, Thelen has single handed made me never want to own another Audi, and if anyone is looking for a well maintained 2001 TT, mine will be for sale in the spring. Such a disappointment.

Love this place! They always do a great job! Lynn was super helpful at the desk and they gave us a ride to breakfast and back while we waited for my car to get done!
