The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage Introduce

Located at 835 Lower Detroit Rd, Plymouth, ME 04969, USA, The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage operates as a distinct "Auto Repair Station" that goes beyond traditional repair services by offering a dual focus on both auto parts sales and vehicle sales. This unique combination makes it a valuable resource for local users seeking to either acquire a vehicle or find specific components for their existing cars. You can connect with them by phone at (207) 257-2419 or via mobile at +1 207-257-2419.

As an "Auto Repair Station" within its platform category, The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage provides a comprehensive range of services and goods that cater to different automotive needs. Unlike a typical repair shop that focuses solely on labor and new parts installation, this establishment specializes in the provision of both used vehicles and, crucially, a vast array of auto parts. This positions them as a critical supplier for individuals undertaking DIY repairs, mechanics looking for cost-effective solutions, or those aiming to restore "fixer upper" vehicles. Their inventory of parts is likely sourced from salvaged vehicles, making them an excellent resource for hard-to-find or discontinued components.

The environment at The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage, while not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, can be inferred to be well-suited for its dual purpose. As a salvage yard and auto sales facility, it would likely feature designated areas for vehicle storage, dismantling, and parts inventory. The positive customer experiences suggest an organized and efficient operation. For customers seeking auto parts, the environment would be one where parts are accessible, possibly categorized, and easy to locate with assistance from staff. For those purchasing vehicles, the sales environment would be conducive to inspecting cars. The mention of "help me find all the parts I needed" implies that their staff are knowledgeable about their inventory and can guide customers through what might otherwise be a daunting process. This suggests a professional, yet practical setting, designed to facilitate both sales and parts retrieval efficiently.

The services offered by The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage are clearly bifurcated into two primary areas: auto parts sales and vehicle sales. For auto parts, their service excels at helping customers find specific components, especially for "fixer upper" vehicles. This indicates a strong inventory of salvaged parts, potentially including engines, transmissions, body panels, interior components, electrical parts, and more. Their ability to assist customers in finding "all the parts I needed to get the car up and running" highlights a comprehensive and helpful parts-finding service. This is particularly valuable for older models or vehicles where new parts might be prohibitively expensive or unavailable. On the vehicle sales side, they offer a range of cars for purchase, from those requiring some work (fixer-uppers) to readily drivable models. The customer review explicitly mentions purchasing a "2024 Ford Bronco - Outer Banks," indicating that they also deal in newer, desirable vehicles, suggesting a diverse and regularly updated inventory. This dual offering provides flexibility for customers, whether they are in need of a complete vehicle or just a specific part to complete a repair.

The key features that distinguish The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage are their extensive parts availability, excellent customer service, and the dual nature of their business. The ability to "find all the parts I needed" is a significant feature, especially for those undertaking complex repairs or restorations. This suggests a well-managed salvage operation with a systematic approach to inventory. The customer service is consistently praised, with reviewers highlighting "Great service" and recommending them "100%." This indicates a staff that is helpful, knowledgeable, and committed to assisting customers in their search for parts or vehicles. The fact that they sell both "fixer upper" vehicles and newer, high-value models like a "2024 Ford Bronco" demonstrates versatility and an understanding of different market segments. This allows them to cater to a broad range of buyers, from budget-conscious DIYers to those seeking a quality used vehicle ready for the road. Their expertise in sourcing and providing parts for vehicles they sell (as in the "fixer upper" case) creates a unique, integrated solution for customers looking to restore or repair a car. This synergy between sales and parts provision offers a compelling value proposition.

While specific promotional information is not directly provided in the customer reviews, the strong endorsements themselves act as significant promotional material. The 100% recommendation for parts needs and the high praise for service after a vehicle purchase are powerful testimonials that would attract new customers. For local users, the implied promotion from The Wheel House Auto Sales & Salvage is their reliability as a one-stop shop for both used vehicles and the parts required to keep them running or restore them. Their ability to help customers find necessary parts, even for complex projects, creates a compelling reason to choose them over generic auto parts stores. It suggests a commitment to customer success beyond just a simple transaction. Any formal promotions would likely leverage these strengths, perhaps offering special deals on parts bundles for common repairs, discounts on "fixer upper" vehicles when combined with a parts purchase, or seasonal sales on popular used car models. The confidence expressed by customers in their ability to meet diverse needs, from finding obscure parts to delivering a desired new-model used car, serves as an ongoing and highly effective form of promotion.

Needed a control arm for my jeep compass. They were very reasonable and found me a used one that was in near perfect condition compared to my original one. They treated me like family and id recommend them to anyone looking for used parts. 10/10 would buy from them again.

Let me have my totaled vehicle towed and held on the lot while it awaited service from progressive. My vehicle was safe and they followed through with a sound inspection. Easy and responsive. I trust them with all the work they do.

Bought a motor from them with warranty. Thought all was great until the motor was put in and had the same knocking noise my other motor did which was the reason for replacing it. They were going to replace the motor via warranty but wouldn't reimburse labor costs that it took to put in their faulty engine. Such a joke this place is! And they gave my mechanics a run around for a week just saying to drive it more and the knock should go away. Never again!
