Tessner Garage & Wrecker Service

My mom had a 2002 ford explorer that just needed a new timing belt, while the whole engine needed to be pulled out, just to put it on. Tessner wanted 2000$ to fix it and 100$ for it to be towed to them. Note she literally lives walking distance away from them. My mom is disabled and living on a monthy SSI check so she couldn't afford it. So tessner wanted to buy it and only offered her 200$ for it and still took out the tow service, so she ended up with 100$ , the ford stayed sitting in their lot for weeks untill now it's gone. They are crooked and only out to help themselves and not the community. Do business with Patersons shop in blacksburg, I got them to tow one of my vehicles to gaffney and it only cost me 50$ tessnear is money hungry

I got charged $144.00 for a new battery cable end and it's still doing the same thing it was doing before not running! There's no honest mechanics left these days

Our semi got stuck while trying to turn around (longstory). We called and they were able to pull us out right away. Price was fair as I've been hit harder than what they charged. Thank you!!! I appreciate the quick response!

I have called them twice in need, and they promptly showed up and were reasonable on the towing fee. I also hear they do mechanic work and are also reasonable.

Down to earth folks who are not out to take your shirt off your back!! I was having what I thought was front end problems and they took look and I needed new tires also and front end alignment too and they couldn't do it but helped me find a place and didn't charge me for looking! It's a blessing to have a wonderful place like Tessner still in business and make you feel like you are a priority as soon as you drive up!!!
