I found this hidden little gem the other day when my front tire blew out. There was also some extensive damage done with the blow out. I didn't know exactly what was wrong yet, but I was devastated because I just figured it was going to be another pricey repair, especially because some people see a woman coming in or vulnerability and want to charge extra thinking they can get over and add unessssary items to the bill. I've also before been in a situation where I went to a big well know place of business, here in the county, who had been advertising a reasonably priced oil change special, only to have them cause an entirely new issue, purposly, just to get me to come back in for the repair. And it was done not only to me, but my friend's vehicle as well as others. So finding a reputable mechanic, was my main concern and top prioroty. I really can't say enough about this little repair shop and it's owner, John. I initially came in unannounced and explained to him the problems at hand. He, at the time, was under a vehicle working, immediately stopped what he was doing and walked over to look at my vehicle, answered all of my questions and concerns, then advised what he thought the issue at hand was and said that I could leave my vehicle and that he'd get the chance to look over thoroughly, most likely the following day. I was definitely good with 'tomorrow' because let's face it, these days nobody has the extra time to squeeze in anything else, and initially had already stopped what he was doing to help me and had been so attentive and courteous, thus far! Thankfully, I have always had a great sense of intuition for people, and I just knew right away that he was a 'good guy', and felt comfortable and confident leaving my vehicle there. Promptly the next morning, I received a phone call with his diagnosis - he had explained the situation and the cost as well as other findings but advised what had to be done now and also what would need attended to in future time, especially if I was unable to afford now. I gave him the go ahead to complete the work along with a few added fixes and my car was finished by late afternoon. I'm so very happy to have found this place. John is a fantastic stand up individual. He's an honest mechanic and I recommend anyone who's needing service to go by and give him a try. He's professional, fair, kind knowledgeable, and reasonable. His front office staff Ms. Amber, is a sweetheart too! You won't be disappointed! A local business with a big heart! Thank you, kindly.
