This is hands down the best place to get car audio installed in the bay area! I bought a Sony head unit with android auto and a separate backup camera for my car. I stopped by at 10am and they were able to start the install in 20 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later my car was ready. The actual install was perfect; everything works like it should and no damage to my car. The price of the install was the most reasonable that i've come across. I checked with 3 other shops in the area and they just can't be beat. It's a small shop, but they sell everything from amps to 6.5", 6x9's and subs etc. I'm buying a subwoofer/amp next and a kill switch for my car and i'll send another review after its finished. If you're in the area and looking to upgrade your car audio, I promise you won't be disappointed!

These guys are amazing! I wrote a 5-star review about a year ago, and I took my car to them again this past weekend, on 1/4/25 I have an all-black 2011 Lexus ES350. Originally, I had a single 10-inch subwoofer, a Sundown amp, an epicenter, and an LC2i. Everything in my Lexus was transferred over from my Toyota Camry. When I first got everything hooked up at Street Car Audio, the settings were already configured from the previous shop. A few months ago, I brought in a pair of 12's, but the bass wasn't hitting as hard as I had seen in YouTube videos. I couldn't understand why my subs didn’t pound unless I turned up the epicenter. Recently, the RCA wiring that connects to the epicenter was starting to fail, causing the bass to cut in and out. So, I took my car back to them, and they re-mounted the epicenter, amp, and LC2i. They adjusted some settings, and now those 12s thump hard! I’m not sure what they did, but I’m really happy with the results. To anyone looking for a great car audio shop, this place is it! #happycustomer

The staff was super helpful, knowledgable, and the installation was done quickly and professionally. The sound quality is amazing, and they took care of my truck. In my experience, there are some car audio shops that are best avoided; they charge too much, they work too slow, they aren’t properly trained, they won’t take responsibility for bad work, etc… This is not one of those shops. After purchasing all of my components online, I began to search for a shop to do the installation. Using google maps, I looked at many shops in my area and within a reasonable distance. I read a ton of reviews, and looked at many different photo installations. Then I began to make calls. Street Car Audio quoted me the best price. A couple weeks later, I just popped up. They took me in, finished my installation in 2hrs, and actually charged me less than what was originally quoted. I’m very satisfied with the work, and the friendly demeanor of the staff. As of now, I won’t go to any other shop.
