Stewart & Stevenson | Albuquerque, NM Customer Reviews

We lost the transmission on our way back from Virginia. We contacted Stewart and Stevenson and the RV was towed to them. We had to leave it because they had a backlog, so we drove on home to California. Being 900 miles away, if they were not an honest shop, could have charge us through the nose since we could no be there to see what they were talking about. This shop is the most honest, dependable and up front shop I have ever worked with. The people there were kind, courteous and so helpful. I highly recommend this shop.

Called Friday 18Nov and spoke with a service coordinator or manager. Asked about service for an Allison 4000 transmission in my Phaeton motorhome. She stated that they are a first come first service provider. I informed her that I am a full time traveler and would prefer to make an appointment to have the software updated for a shift issue which was solved by a software update 5 years ago. She stated she would take my information and have the service manager contact me regarding an appointment. I provided her with a phone contact and name. To date, not a word in response from their service manager. Apparently, they don't have time for a traveling customer.

This shop was a Godsend. Got us in and out quickly at a reasonable price. Jeff was awesome. Great location near lodging. Made it into our top 5 shops in the country. If ever needing Freightliner repairs in the Albuquerque area this is the place to go.
