Stewart's Tire & Auto Introduce

Stewart's Tire & Auto, situated at 2615 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301, USA, functions as an automotive service center primarily specializing in tire and related auto services. Its classification under the "Auto Repair Stations" category on various platforms signifies its role in providing direct vehicle maintenance and repair solutions to local users. For direct inquiries, the establishment can be reached at (910) 488-3360 or via mobile at +1 910-488-3360.

The **environment** at Stewart's Tire & Auto, like most auto repair shops, is typically designed for functionality. It would feature service bays equipped with necessary tools for tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and general automotive repairs. A customer waiting area would also be present, providing a space for clients while their vehicles are being serviced. Given the nature of tire and auto repair, the focus of the environment would be on efficient workflow and the handling of vehicles. While specific details about the aesthetic or amenities of the waiting area are not provided, the operational aspect of a tire and auto shop suggests a practical and utilitarian setup.

The core **services** offered by Stewart's Tire & Auto, as indicated by the customer reviews, include the installation and servicing of tire sensors. A customer's experience revolved around needing a "tire sensor" replaced. Beyond this specific service, and considering its name "Stewart's Tire & Auto" and its categorization as an "Auto Repair Station," it can be objectively inferred that the business provides a broader range of tire and general automotive services. These would typically encompass:

  • **Tire Sales and Installation:** Offering a variety of new tires for different vehicle types.
  • **Tire Mounting and Balancing:** Essential services for proper tire performance and safety.
  • **Tire Repair:** Patching punctures and addressing other forms of tire damage.
  • **Tire Rotation:** Regular rotation to ensure even tire wear and extend tire life.
  • **Wheel Alignment:** Crucial for vehicle handling and tire longevity.
  • **Tire Sensor Replacement and Programming:** As directly evidenced by the customer review.
  • **Basic Automotive Maintenance:** Such as oil changes, fluid checks, and brake inspections, common for establishments that brand themselves as "Auto" service centers.

The scope of "Auto Repair Stations" generally implies a comprehensive set of services to keep vehicles roadworthy, with a specialized focus on tires in this particular case.

The **features** of Stewart's Tire & Auto are presented in stark contrast through the provided customer reviews. This provides a multifaceted perspective on the business's operational characteristics and customer experience:

  • **Service Capability for Tire Sensors:** The store is capable of installing tire sensors, a specialized service essential for modern vehicles equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
  • **Speed and Efficiency (Positive View):** One review praises the service as "Fast." This suggests that for some customers, work is completed promptly, which is a desirable quality in automotive repair.
  • **Knowledgeable Staff (Positive View):** The same positive review describes the staff as "knowledgeable," indicating that some customers find the employees well-informed and capable of providing good advice or performing repairs correctly.
  • **Friendly Service (Positive View):** "Friendly" service is another positive feature noted by a customer, implying a welcoming and approachable attitude from the staff during certain interactions.

However, a very strong and detailed negative review presents a significantly different picture of the establishment's features, particularly concerning customer service and problem resolution:

  • **Extremely Poor Customer Service and Aggression:** The customer reported the "worst experience of customer service I’ve ever had," describing the father and son as "very aggressive with questioning me with extreme rudeness and callousness" when a returned part (tire sensor) malfunctioned. This indicates a severe breakdown in customer communication and a hostile approach to resolving issues.
  • **Allegations of Racial Bias/Prejudice:** The most severe aspect of the negative feedback is the customer's strong assertion that the behavior "likened their behavior to racial hate/prejudice extremism!" While this is the customer's perception and interpretation, it is a critical and objectively stated part of their review, indicating a deeply disturbing experience for that individual based on their assessment of the interaction. This alleged "bigotry" is cited as disabling them from providing "good sound and quality customer service."
  • **Lack of Problem Resolution:** The inability to resolve the issue with the malfunctioning tire sensor amicably and professionally is a significant negative feature, suggesting a potential reluctance to honor warranty or stand behind their work when problems arise.
  • **Inconsistency in Service Quality:** The existence of such diametrically opposed reviews (one praising friendliness and speed, the other condemning rudeness and poor problem resolution) suggests a high degree of inconsistency in customer experience at Stewart's Tire & Auto. This means that while some customers might have positive interactions, others might face severe challenges, particularly if issues arise post-service.

Regarding **promotional information**, no explicit promotional offers, discounts, or advertising campaigns are provided in the given information. Instead, the business's "promotion" is entirely derived from its online customer reviews, which present a complex and conflicting narrative. The positive review, with its concise praise ("Great place! Friendly, knowledgeable and fast service. I'll be back soon."), serves as a direct, informal recommendation that would traditionally attract new customers seeking reliable and pleasant service. This type of endorsement is highly valuable through word-of-mouth and online reputation.

Conversely, the lengthy and intensely negative review, with its strong warnings ("I will never go back there and if I can talk to the entire city, do not take your vehicle to that place because if you have a problem and need to return it, their bigotry disables them of good sound and quality customer service!!!!!"), acts as a powerful deterrent. While not a conventional promotion, such a review significantly impacts the perceived value and trustworthiness of the business. For local users in Fayetteville, NC, deciding whether to visit Stewart's Tire & Auto would involve weighing the positive claims of good service against the very serious allegations of aggression, rudeness, and discriminatory behavior. The strength of the negative account is such that it could overshadow the positive feedback for many potential customers, emphasizing the critical importance of customer interaction in the automotive service industry. Objectively, the available information shows a business capable of providing specific services (like tire sensor replacement) but with a highly inconsistent and, for one customer, deeply distressing customer service experience that includes severe allegations.

Stewart's Tire & Auto Customer Reviews

Needed a tire sensor they put one on but in a week it stop working I took it back and it was the worst experience of customer service I’ve ever had. The father and son turned red in the face, very aggressive with questioning me with extreme rudeness and callousness! I’m not one to play the race card but I likened their behavior to racial hate/prejudice extremism! I will never go back there and if I can talk to the entire city, do not take your vehicle to that place because if you have a problem and need to return it, their bigotry disables them of good sound and quality customer service!!!!! And all that I said is an under description of my horrible experience!!!!!

I always give a review bad or good but this place I got to say is not a good place to get your vehicle check. I’m only going off of first impression and customer service. This place was referred to me and the person that refer me to this place did say that they do good work but the owner son is very rude and I got to say she was correct. I explained to him that I needed to get my vehicle check and explained what was going on. So this gentleman said if you drop it off next week we can check it for you, I explained that this is my only source of transportation so I would have to stay with it. He said no that’s not how we do business, ( now minded you his father said that I could bring it and wait) so you can drop it off and we will call you. He kept cutting me off every time I went to say something. So of course me being the professional that I am said, okay not a problem but unfortunately I could not do that (as he cut me off again). So I said have a wonderful day and be blessed. I’m not about to leave my vehicle and then intrust you with it. If they do good work I will never know only because how I was treated as a potential client. Smh

Absolutely a horrible experience first and foremost the old guy at the counter is rude and unprofessional please retire already buddy! Took my vehicle in to get my clutch fluid bleed dropped it off in the morning and was told I get a call in a few hours never got the call. Called myself and low a behold I had other issues that needed to be addressed no biggie. Ask him to quote me out a price for the job parts included so we can get the work done He said he’d call me back he never did so. I found the parts and then called up there and ask how much labor would be and he told me. this done today and he’s like no it’s too late in the afternoon and my honest opinion they already dropped the ball because if you really wanted to work on my vehicle you would’ve called me whenever there was other issues instead of rolling it out of your shop and moving onto the next car. So I wait till Monday going to the shop Monday to drop off my warranty information so I’m not paying out of pocket for the repairs was told that I was going to get a call back in an hour waited almost half a day again finally called up there to figure out what was going on. when I asked the old man If he had called the warranty yet, he asked me why am I using the warranty? Like really what kinda question is that I could tell he was pissed off over the phone after I told him that I was trying to keep from paying outta pocket he said “ I don’t wanna deal with that if you don’t wanna pay cash your gonna have to take your vehicle somewhere else so I do that the sent the truck away with out the parts that I paid for and left the reservoir for the clutch fluid unattached, and the bleeder valve on the transmission barely screwed in so now the shop that it’s at has even more of a mess to clean up I stopped by thinking. Hey let me check the small business out. They were good on pricing but not with customer. Service are doing the job. I really felt like they never wanted to do the work on my car in the first place, and now someone else is making $2000 instead of them do your self a favor and don’t bother stopping here
