STATKUS ENGINES

Took our rig to get the oils changed in engine and generator. Asked that they give the rig a good once over. They took the time and found several things that would have been serious issues had they just rubber stamped the inspection. Great people in the office and the mechanics were good as well. Highly reccomend them if you are in the Albuquerque area.

We were happy to take our class a rv in for over heating and engine failure while driving. We were told that the house of all the wires was slightly melted, causing sensor malfunction. If it happened again, then they were dumbfounded as of the cayse.They charged us to secure it safely. We drove it a six hour drive to AZ, and it turned off again several times. We are just overwhelmed by the lack of effort and confidence. It will show engine communication failure as so as we travel within an hour. The hotter it gets, the more it will shut off while driving. UPDATE We used this shop last fall. 2010 Four Winds Serrano 32ft. We had a 1k deductible, and the price of repairs was $900. I am most confident who and where I am reviewing about.

The people here know exactly what they’re doing. This place needs more stars than 5. They identified problems with my rig that other mechanics don’t even know how to identify. They have perfected their craft at this business and need more recognition. I wish the best of luck to this business and appreciate the service they do.

If you’re ever in need of a helping hand look no further! This place was nothing short of excellent. Wendy was on top of communication and kept us updated at all times during the entire process. It’s never easy having a trip interrupted with engine trouble but if your rig is in this shop know you’re in good hands. The work they do is swift and proper and it can’t say enough about how impressed I am with the service I received. Thank you!

Fantastic Service, Fantastic Company! We have a (new to us) 19 year old Diesel Pusher that needed lots to TLC. We found Statkus when we discovered that the local Freightliner dealer had absolutely no interest in working on it. Statkus did all of our services and investigated some additional concerns that we had very quickly (2 days) whereas the freightliner dealer was quoting 3 weeks to even start looking at it. We also had Statkus perform a tricky install of a manual fuel primer pump. They fabricated a very neat solution that looks OEM. The president Wendy communicated quite well, and took the time to offer some additional recommendations for the future. Their services are not cheap, but they care for their customers, and have earned my business for the foreseeable future.

Statkus got me in quick, changed my oil and an air filter and got me back on the road, all while my truck camper stayed where it belonged. I’ll definitely use them again.
