State Street Tire

These guys always go above and beyond. My wife need a tire plugged and they saw her quickly, assessed the tire, plugged it, remounted it, put the spare back under the truck, and sent her on her way. I appreciate that they take care of the community and we'll put them first on the list for tires when we need them.

Well! Buckle up my friends this is going to be a long ride. I had stopped a few months back and got some tires changed, didn't seem to bad. A little pricey maybe but open time slot when I needed it and close by. Bought some stock rims for my car for the winter so I don't ruin my customs. Decided to put some studded snow tires on for the winter and stopped in State street tire for prices. They were a little busy that day so I left my number for them to call me with prices. Never heard from them. I replaced the tie rods on the front and one adjuster bolt on the back got it close with a tape but just not perfect. Again State Street is close by and had an opening the next day. Dropped off the car and got a phone call 30 min later, can't do the alignment with bad tires need to buy new ones. What, HELLO!! I was not aware we were aligning the tires. That's right, you're not! They tried to sell me tires after they didn't even call me back....Lol. Best advice I can give is to find someplace else. There's places out there that don't actively lie to get a up sale. Update: This owner must be where Heather got her stories to tell, but then again, if she told this "owner" that I screamed and cussed at her. She can lay down some whoppers of her own. Just stay away people this business will lie to you to get more money. You'll notice he never said anything about the alignment, just that he thinks I should get new tires from him. If you remember ( she didn't call back) I bought them someplace else. Just wanted a alignment then install new tires. Not here though; I won't be back. Get some class and try to make a honest living " owner"

Former master tech here - I am very very picky having anyone work on my car and do everything myself. But when a Barberton pit hole demolished my sidewall, I limped to state street. I brought in a good loose tire I had kept, they got it taken care of first thing - used the touch-less tire mounter and were excellent. If you have low profile or difficult to mount tire or aftermarket wheels - don’t hesitate to take them to state street. I am very happy with their service and would recommend to anyone.

I stopped in on a Saturday morning without an appointment and Ross was able to squeeze me in. While I waited, I enjoyed a warm cup of hot cocoa and easy conversation with the owner. The place is clean and festive and friendly. State Street is affordable and locally owned and has a great team!

One of the better places to go for honest and I mean honest repair work! I’ve had this place do a lot on my truck because of the honesty I get from them. You aren’t going to pay for bullshit repairs like other places force on you no scare tactics honest repair. I go out of my way to go here as a lot of others need to do they won’t be disappointed

Always a great experience when I come here. The staff is honest and respectable - the techs are capable and quick. The prices are fair and very competitive. Tire & break services can't be beat! I now bring all my vehicles here for service... until my wife or kids wreck them! :-)

I have had great experiences in the past but the last few times were not up to par. I had to return my vehicle twice within a week of each other due to the same issue. Bolts were sitting in a tray in my front seat the first time I went to pick up my car as if they weren’t finished, I had to bring that to their attention. Come to find out it is my starter and instead of just replacing like they thought it was in the beginning, some wires were cleaned off and I was charged for that, I would have rather had the starter replaced. Then once it did it again I was told to go elsewhere since they could no longer help me.
