Stacey Crain Auto Salvage Introduce
**Stacey Crain Auto Salvage** operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category by providing essential goods – specifically used auto parts – and related services crucial for vehicle repair and customization. Located in Gainesville, GA, this establishment is primarily an auto salvage yard, which means it specializes in the dismantling of vehicles to sell their reusable components. However, it also extends its offerings to include specialized installation services, positioning itself as a hybrid auto parts provider and a limited service station for specific automotive enhancements.
The **environment** of Stacey Crain Auto Salvage combines elements of a traditional auto parts counter with the operational landscape of a salvage yard. While a customer-facing office or counter area would be a standard feature for part inquiries and purchases, the broader environment would involve a designated yard where vehicles are stored for dismantling. This area, while functional, is characteristic of a salvage operation. For customers seeking specific parts, the process typically involves working with staff to identify the correct component from their inventory of salvaged vehicles. For those utilizing their installation services, there would be designated bays or work areas equipped for fitting parts like lift kits. The atmosphere aims to be practical and efficient, geared towards helping customers find what they need or get specialized installations done, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and accessibility to used automotive components.
The core **services** provided by Stacey Crain Auto Salvage revolve around the sale of **used auto parts**. This includes a vast inventory of components salvaged from various makes and models of vehicles, offering a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new parts. Customers can typically find everything from engine components, transmissions, and body panels to interior parts, electrical components, and suspension parts. This aspect of their business is crucial for vehicle owners and repair shops looking for affordable solutions for their automotive needs. Beyond the sale of used parts, Stacey Crain Auto Salvage also distinguishes itself as an **authorized Rough Country dealer**. This allows them to offer and install Rough Country products, which include **lift kits, leveling kits, suspension upgrades**, and a range of **truck accessories**. This unique combination of salvage parts sales and specialized new product installation sets them apart from typical salvage yards or conventional auto parts stores. They also offer **tire and wheel mounting and balancing** services, particularly relevant when installing new lift kits or aftermarket wheels. This dual focus caters to a wide range of customers, from those needing a simple replacement part to those looking to customize their trucks and SUVs.
Several **features** make Stacey Crain Auto Salvage a notable entity within the auto parts and repair landscape. A primary feature is their **extensive inventory of used parts**. This vast selection provides customers with access to components that might be difficult or expensive to source new, making repairs more affordable. The expertise of their staff in navigating this inventory and identifying the correct parts is also a key feature, ensuring customers get what they need. Their status as an **authorized Rough Country dealer** is a significant differentiator. This not only means they sell these popular aftermarket products but also possess the expertise and equipment for professional installation, ensuring proper fitment and performance of lift kits and other accessories. This specialized installation capability, including lift kit installation and truck accessory installation, elevates them beyond a mere parts supplier to a provider of specialized modification services. The ability to provide these services demonstrates a commitment to vehicle enhancement and customization, appealing to a specific segment of the automotive market. Furthermore, their focus on providing parts for a wide range of vehicles, rather than specializing in just one or two brands, expands their appeal to a broader customer base looking for affordable solutions.
Regarding **promotional information**, Stacey Crain Auto Salvage, typical of businesses in the salvage and specialized installation sectors, may not rely on broad, nationally advertised promotions like large retail chains. Instead, their promotional efforts often center on their core value propositions. Key promotional aspects include the **cost savings associated with used auto parts**, which is a perpetual draw for customers looking for affordable repair solutions. Their status as an **authorized Rough Country dealer** is also a strong promotional point, highlighting their expertise in truck and SUV customization and the availability of popular aftermarket products. Localized advertising, online listings, and positive word-of-mouth within the community and among truck/SUV enthusiasts would be primary methods of promotion. They may also highlight their installation services for specific products, emphasizing convenience and professional workmanship. While specific, time-limited discounts might not be widely published, customers seeking parts or specialized installations would benefit from inquiring directly about pricing and availability. The unique blend of offering both recycled parts and specialized new installations serves as a continuous form of promotion, attracting customers with diverse needs and budget considerations. Their focus on providing an economical and effective solution for vehicle maintenance and customization is their most compelling promotional message.
In summary, Stacey Crain Auto Salvage functions as a distinct "Auto Repair Station" by supplying vital used auto parts and offering specialized installation services for aftermarket products. Its unique blend of salvage operations and performance customization, coupled with a focus on affordability and specialized expertise, positions it as a valuable and unique resource for vehicle owners in the Gainesville, GA area.

Stacey Crain Auto Salvage Customer Reviews
I need a transmission rebuilt in my truck. Stacy said 3800 and we'll rebuild it. Paid the man and he kept the truck for 2 weeks. When I got it back is was still doing the same thing. Called him up and he said bring it back. Took it back and he kept it for 8 days saying he couldn't find anything wrong... picked it back up and still the problem persisted. When I called him back he advised the only thing it could it could be is the tcm inside the transmission and it would be another 750 so I paid him and left it. A week later. He kept it another week. 1 month total at the shop. Paid stacy 4550 and spent 2k total on a rental. Now he's "worked" on it he's and I spent 6500 just to get my truck back the same way. That man is full of $4!+ and lies spew from his mouth. I ended up having to pay another shop to rebuild my transmission. Now the truck drives and runs great. Stacy Crain is an incompetent con artist. Actually I guess he's an accomplished con artist cause he got me for 4500 but he's definitely an incompetent mechanic. If you do business with this fool you deserve to get taken. The bad reviews are legit, the good ones are likely people he paid or friends and family

I waited a month while paying eight hundred a week for a rental. Mr. Crain says he will call you back but never does. He gives you a time to wait for his call but he does not call you. He has no voice mail and puts you on hold until the phone disconnects. He said he knew a man who could repair my car. Instead of just giving me the man's shop number or address which he says the man has his own shop, he wastes my time with endless calls and emails to go to the man via him. He cost me tons of money and time. He left me on hold yesterday for ten minutes until I finally hung up. Family friend or not, when you value your business you do notdoto customers what was done to us.

My fiancé had his Transmission replaced by Stacey and he quoted us half what the other mechanic did. He got the work done quickly and only charged us what he originally quoted. I appreciate his no-nonsense approach and will call him in the future for my Automotive needs.

Good shop and they standby their work. Torque converter went out after being replaced 6 months back and Stacy took care of it at no charge.
