I have a newer VW and battery replacements are no joke, the computer system must be reset and without a certified dealer you're out of luck. Luckily, I ran into Jonathon at the gas station when my car battery was spent. He informed me about SW Hyundai and said they could handle the job. Without Jonathan I'd be stuck somewhere in NM with no means of replacing the battery (every VW dealer was closed for the 3-day weekend). Thank you Jonathan and SW Hyundai, your service was quick and staff friendly. I even paid less for the battery plus labor than the cost of one battery at O Reilly's. I'd highly recommend SW Hyundai, without them I'd be in a much worse position. Thanks everyone!

We had an oil change done,we also had let technician know that our brakes were pulsating. They did oil change &worked on our brakes. It was done in a timely manner. We were treated very well. We will definitely give them our business in the future.

I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I am with my experiences at Southwest Hyundai. My first bad experience was at the end of last year when I had brought my Hyundai Sonata in for an oil change. at the end of last year when I had brought my Hyundai Sonata in for an oil change. I had made the appointment the week before and I was told it would take open hour. So the day comes and me and my family Drive 45 minutes from the East mountains to Southwest Hyundai for the appointment. Me my wife and our three children are in the waiting room area for over an hour. So I walked over to the counter and ask if our car is almost ready. We had another appointment to go to and needed to be out of there soon. Our service writer told me they hadn't even started on changing the oil on our vehicle. When we finally did get our vehicle (several hours later) there was a black smudge about 8 inches by 5 inches, across the inside of the driver door (tan interior). Since then, I have decided to just start changing my own oil. Fast forward to today, my wife reluctantly brought the Sonata back to Southwest Hyundai to check on an airbag light that had been on the dash for a few weeks. Not only did it take 5 hours for them to complete a diagnostic that they said would take 2 hours, but when my wife arrived to pick up our vehicle, she observed a mechanic sitting in our car and the guy was messing with our dash cam. My wife watched the guy play with our dash cam for about 5 minutes before she confronted him. His excuse was that he and a friend were talking about dash cams and that he was interested in getting one. That doesn't explain why he was playing with ours for 5 minutes. My wife went inside and paid for the diagnostic and explained to the service manager that she had witnessed the mechanic messing with our camera. The manager said he was sorry, but seemed to just shrug it off. My thought is that the mechanic went for a joy ride or did some dumb s*** in my car and was trying to delete the evidence. My wife called me and was crying because she was so upset with her experience. She is on her way home now and we will review the footage on the camera. Either way, the way this situation was handled and the fact it even happened at all is absolutely unacceptable and I will not ever bring my vehicle back to this place. I will also warn my friends not to bring their vehicles to this place. I'm also going to get the name of this mechanic and will possibly be pressing criminal charges.
