If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I can honestly say I have never written a yelp review in my life but feel it is necessary for this place so no one has to be subjected to the lies I dealt with. I am going to share my experience with you to help you understand what a dishonest man owns this business. I am a fairly new resident to the Bayville community and wanted to bring my business to a local business to help my new community. I just needed an inspection on my Jeep Wrangler. My check engine light was not on but somehow my vehicle did not pass inspection. The owner called me to tell me my vehicle did not pass because I needed a new catalytic converter. I asked him how much would that cost and he replied $1000. I said I couldn’t do that so he told me he would call me back later to see if he could find a better price. After a short time passed he called and told me he could do it for $775 but that’s the best he could do. I said I couldn’t do that either I’ll just come pick my truck up. When I went to pick my truck up he has billed me for $57. I said are you kidding me a NYS inspection only costs $37 how can you charge me $57 and not even pass my vehicle. He told me it was because it took him a half hour to find what was wrong with it. I didn’t ask him to look for what is wrong with it he did that on his own and charged me for his time. After picking my truck up from there I drove right over to my old shop in Hicksville. They looked at my vehicle and put it on the lift and it passed inspection in 20 minutes. How is that even possible? **DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.** Take your business elsewhere!
