Although it was pretty busy; I had 2 ppl in front of me. Process was very quick and the best priced in Oceanside (with coupon). Only thing is parking is hard, and bcuz it’s busy had to maneuver between cars but owner was very attentive on who was in line. Would recommend going up to owner to ensure he knows what place you’re in.

So....I've been coming here for 10 years, may be longer. I have ALWAYS appreciated the work that Mo has done for me and my family. We have 4 vehicles and he has always treated me fairly. Also, their prices pretty much beat anyone else in town. I believe Mo is no longer employed here which is a shame. That said, today I will likely no longer go here. In essence, I was met by a very rude gentleman who told me my 'sports car' would cost $120. He proceeded to tell me it's because it's a sports car and that he would have to 'climb into the back seat to plug things into the engine.' His words not mine. I told him the last person to do the smog on my 'sports car' was Mo and he did no such thing. He said, 'Oh he probably just plugged in the computer, but I won't do that for less than $120 because it's a 'sports car'. Last time I checked there is no designation in CARB language in the state of California where a Smog shop can upcharge for a 'sports car' and even if that were the case, the verbiage I see at many shops says things like, 'extra charge for SUV's, trucks, heavy duty vehicles, etc'. This guy likely had a bad day, but his behavior towards me was unacceptable. So, went down the street and let's just say I didn't pay $120. I plan to file a complaint with the State, the consumer protection bureau and BBB. This person has no reason to be employed here.

Modesto was great. He was very friendly and fast. It was my first smog check, I was a little nervous bit he made me feel comfortable.

This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had getting a SMOG check. Modesto was very polite and provided excellent customer service. The wait was minimal in comparison to other places I've gone in the past. I will definitely recommend to others, and I will be back! Thank you, Modesto!

Friendly and professional staff, more affordable than any other place in North county, comfortable chairs to wait and even a bathroom. The technician said 15 minutes but it was definitely even less than that with paperwork in hand. 5 star spot.

Best smog place in town! Modesto was professional, timely and informed me of the $10 off coupon which doesn’t sound like much but now a days every penny counts! Will definitely be taking all my vehicles only here from now on as well as refer all my family and friends! Thank you again!

I came in without an appointment, and I got in right away. I forgot to show my coupon before the test but the tech said it was OK, and he gave me the coupon price. Service was quick and professional.
