First Experience back 6 months ago, to see my newest rating please move down to second experience 1-20-2025. As a new customer I would like to recommend Six T Automotive to everyone. If you even have to drive a distance to get there it is worth the service and kind craftsmanship. This is why, Well I was about ready to go camping with my truck in pulling fifth wheel to my destination. I was on business in the New Lothrop area and had a nail in my tire, not only did Six T Automotive take in the truck on demand but also was kind enough to explicitly call out items that dealerships were not taking care of. This was a shocker to me as to what I was shown and what I saw! You want to talk about honesty, integrity, and loyalty you will find no one who compares to Six T Automotive! I guarantee it! I have been in the automotive industry as an engineer for 10 years now and what the management of Six T Automotive had shown me you realize that it is a family owned business and that they take your family just as serious for their safety on the roadway as their own! I just had my vehicle in for service at a local dealership and the carelessness that I was shown with my own eyes was shocking as a result of the dealership service. I am from Otisville and will now always drive to New Lothrop for the level of service, honesty, integrity, and loyalty that I know I will continue to have the rest of my life with Six T Automotive taking care of my vehicles. The management of Six T Automotive found four warrantee issues with my vehicle, which obviously I scheduled with them to complete just as the dealership found nothing one day prior. I can't express my gratitude and respect for this small town automotive repair business. I would not care if I lived two hours away I would take the drive just for the comfort of knowing items are done right and professionally. Also, all my tires were fully inspected and my flat was fixed right on the spot. Just an all out AMAZING business. If you have yet to try them you should! GREAT! Second Experience January 20, 2025. Well as no surprise the young man who runs this phenomenal mechanics shop is an absolutely extraordinary person. I was able to wait for my repari to day and was able to witness just the care and passion the young man that owns the shops takes toward your vehicle. I was amazed as an engineer in the automotive industry the level of tentativeness and care Six T Automotive takes toward their customers vehicles. It was truly amazing today! When getting an oil change, rear differential change, front differential change, and a tire rotation, then a oil change on my other vehicle as experiencing this level of service I would recommend Six T Automotive to everyone! I watched as Six T Automotive carefully examined every aspect of every step in ensuring all torque levels for the differentials were accurate, the cleanliness of the job was truly astounding, and the when Six T Automotive rotated my tires they even lightly polished the inside of the rim where it makes contact with the rotor and mounts. I asked what does that do, Six T Automotive responded that most tires shops and others will not take the time to do that but it eliminate seizing the rim to the mounting surface. For me it was the small things that went a long way today, cleaning every area, ensuring all items were correctly torqued, ensuring every aspect of my vehicle had the same care as what Six T Automotive would give to their own vehicles. It's obvious here, this is a company that wants customers to trust and respect them, as the level of integrity, trust, honesty, dedication, and devotion into their work today was like nothing I have ever experienced before. Been going to different mechanics since I’ve been 16. Never have I ever been happy or satisfied by a SINGLE mechanic that’s ever worked on any of my vehicles for the last 11 years. UNTIL yesterday.. This is a One-Man shop. He listened to me about what I THOUGHT was wrong with my car.. went under it and found out it wasn’t even remotely what I thought was wrong. Ended up being cheaper than was originally quoted! He got my car in to the shop within two days (that two days was the weekend) . Had to order parts AND STILL GOT IT OUT THE NEXT DAY. Every time something was different, broke, out of place he called me to tell me! Never once kept me in the dark and never once got mad at me calling to check up on the car as well! I’ve been thinking about keeping this automotive repair guy my little secret so he continues to be as fast as he is getting my car in and out as fast as he possibly could. When I came to pay he showed me all the broken parts and showed me what he did in detail. Mind you he does this WITH NO HELP! He answered the phones, does all the work, orders parts, pricing, all of it! BUT this guy 10000% deserves recognition on his services. THANKS BRET! Finally have a vehicle for once in my ‘owning my own car life’ having a QUIET car😂 I should probably add that he also was working on two other cars as well as mine and still got it out the next day. I started an oil change on my vehicle and could not get the oil filter off. I tried everything. I got the car down to Six T auto and their staff was willing to help me get the filter off. I came back in about two hours and they had finished the job. They believe that the oil filter was put on too tight. Turns out they had to use an air chisel to get the filter off. Very knowledgeable staff, warm and friendly atmosphere. Their $$$ are more than fair for a small garage like this. Will go back again!!! THANK YOU SIX T AUTOMOTIVE.

I get that businesses need to upcharge on parts and its a local shop but the cost for a belt tensioner and serpentine belt should not be 3x the price of FORDS PRICE. I took my car there the first time and they couldn't find any obvious issue. They put the belt on and charged me roughly $50. Thats totally fine. I bring it back in after it happens again and tell them if they can't find any obvious issue atleast replace the belt. They take it and then call me to tell me it's done and I owe $400. I never recieved a call to approve it. When asked he said "You already wanted the belt so we figured..." which was already bad. Then I look and the belt was $102 which was ridiculous. I asked why it was so expensive and was told its because they dont use cheap parts. FORD SELLS THEM FOR $65 and you can buy it from oemfordparts for $49 for motorcraft parts. Same with the tensioner. It was $159 for their price and $129 for Ford directly or $64 through oemfordparts which is motorcraft parts. Then based on the conversation it didn't really sound like they knew it was the tensioner. They just replaced it (without my approval) and hopefully that was it. Again, I get businesses require to upcharge but no way, is a 25% upcharge on what a Ford Dealership would cost me a good deal especially when it is a 56% upcharge on normal people parts.
