Sierra Tires Introduce

For individuals in Las Vegas, Nevada, seeking tire-related services, Sierra Tires is an establishment located at 4380 N Lamb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, USA. Operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, this business primarily deals with the sale and service of tires. You can attempt to reach them by calling (702) 888-5630 or on their mobile at +1 702-888-5630.

Based on publicly available customer reviews, the environment at Sierra Tires appears to be a source of significant dissatisfaction for some patrons. While a physical description of the shop's layout or waiting area is not explicitly provided, the customer feedback paints a picture of an environment where professionalism and customer care may be lacking. Reports of being "repeatedly hung up on" when calling, and experiencing a perceived change in pricing "IN PERSON IN YOUR FACE," suggest a challenging and potentially confrontational atmosphere. Customers expect a professional and respectful environment when seeking auto services, and the reviews indicate that this may not always be the case at Sierra Tires. The location in Las Vegas, dealing with the demands of a desert climate on tires, inherently requires reliable products and services, but the customer experience within the shop itself is a critical factor that has been highlighted negatively.

As an "Auto Repair Stations" establishment with a focus on tires, Sierra Tires primarily offers services related to tire sales and repair. This includes selling used tires, as explicitly mentioned by customers, and providing patching services for flats. Generally, tire shops also offer new tire sales, tire installation, balancing, rotation, and potentially wheel alignment services. However, the customer reviews for Sierra Tires highlight significant issues within these service offerings. One customer reported purchasing a used tire for $60, only for it to go flat within four days, and then faced additional charges for patching multiple holes. The recurring issues with the same tire, including claims of it being "defective... with no tread," indicate concerns about the quality of the products sold and the effectiveness of their repairs. Furthermore, a customer explicitly noted that "the tire does not include balancing," which is a standard inclusion at many reputable tire shops and essential for proper tire function and vehicle safety. These detailed accounts suggest that the services provided may not consistently meet industry standards or customer expectations for durability and completeness.

What truly distinguishes Sierra Tires, based on the provided customer feedback, are its reported negative features, particularly concerning pricing, communication, and product quality. A recurring theme is inconsistent pricing, with customers experiencing different quotes over the phone versus in person, and a perceived increase in prices for used tires ($25-$40 to $60) while new tires elsewhere cost only around $100. This inconsistency and lack of transparency are major concerns. Communication is another significant issue, with customers reporting being "repeatedly hung up on" and staff allegedly denying previous price quotes given over the phone. The quality of the used tires sold is also heavily criticized, with one customer feeling "completely scammed" due to a defective tire that led to "three continuous weeks of problems." The sentiment that the shop "no longer care about their customers, just our money" speaks to a perceived decline in customer service and an apparent prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction and product integrity. These features contribute to a highly disappointing customer experience, leading to strong recommendations to "avoid this location."

Regarding promotional information, no positive promotional details or customer incentives are present in the provided customer reviews. Instead, the feedback details experiences that would likely deter potential customers rather than attract them. In a competitive market like Las Vegas, tire shops often offer promotions such as discounts on new tire purchases, free tire rotations, or bundled services. However, the customer experiences at Sierra Tires suggest a focus that is not on providing value or building customer loyalty through promotions. The reported increase in used tire prices, and the perceived lack of care for repeat customers, stand in stark contrast to promotional strategies aimed at fostering long-term relationships. Without any positive promotional aspects to highlight, local users considering Sierra Tires should carefully weigh the highly critical customer experiences shared, particularly concerning pricing inconsistencies, product reliability, and overall customer service. The comparison to other businesses like "Discount Tire" for "consistent service and pricing" further underscores the perceived lack of these qualities at Sierra Tires.

In conclusion, Sierra Tires, located at 4380 N Lamb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, operates as an "Auto Repair Stations" specializing in tire services. However, based on the detailed and consistently negative customer reviews, prospective local users should be aware of significant reported concerns regarding pricing inconsistencies, poor communication, questionable product quality (particularly for used tires), and a general lack of customer care. The experiences shared by former loyal customers indicate a decline in service and a focus that has led to profound dissatisfaction. For anyone in Las Vegas seeking reliable tire services, it is crucial to consider these reported challenges when evaluating Sierra Tires.

Sierra Tires Customer Reviews

I've been a loyal customer here for over 12 years. I paid $60 for a used tire, but just four days later, it went flat. Hoping for some sympathy and resolution, I showed the guy my receipt, but he didn't care. Initially, he quoted me $15 to patch it, but then said there were two holes, hiking the price up to $30. Desperate, I agreed. However, this week, the tire went flat again with no nails in sight. It became clear that I had been sold a defective tire with no tread, making it vulnerable to any sharp object and causing a slow leak. This is now three continuous weeks of problems with the same tire. I feel completely scammed. The prices at this shop have also been steadily increasing, from $25-$40 for used tires to $60, while brand new tires cost only about $100 at other places. It seems they no longer care about their customers, just our money. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning.

What’s the point of asking questions to a company if they are going for to change what they say? Even IN PERSON IN YOUR FACE. It took 5 calls being repeatedly hung up on to find out they had the tire in stock, I was also told it would be 60 cash, 65 with card for a used tire. So I drove to the location. Upon arriving the worker tells me 70. I advise I just called and was told it would be $65 with card. Now he says the card machine is down but it’d be 65 cash. I again advised I was told it was 65 with card then they say the card machine is down. When I brought that to their attention they said they never said that. Also the tire does not include balancing. I would avoid this location unless it’s 10pm at night and you’re in the area. If I wasn’t so far from my home I would have taken it to discount tire as I always do due to consistent service and pricing of which I did not receive here.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Place is a legit scam. Half ass work. High up charges. (20$ per valve stem that you can buy for 2-3 dollars each) 60 dollars per used tire.. no balance unless huge upsell.. expecting tips on top of pricing...rude if not tipping.. Legit wanted the same price as new tires from legit businesses with all services included [paid 160 vs new with all extras 166] ( balance /valve stem / tire mounting) for simple mount and valve stem without the needed balance when mounting new tires to a rim... trashy and scam masters on people that are seeking service in limited availabity areas and times... Only reason I followed through was hours of availabiity and proximity to a car stuck on the side of the road with two flats.. if you need it in an emergency get scammed and get on with it but... DO NOT GO HERE. You can legit buy new tires for their used pricing and get complete services and warranties...especially after upcharges for base expected tire services... replace a tire replace the valve stem and balance at a responsible rate. 20$ for a 2 dollar valve stem per tire... get real ... dishonest and abusive business practices. Even larger up charge on balancing the tires ... unreal... Saying I have to show cameras im getting paid for base work.. so do other tire shops you just trying to fatten your pocket by saying cash only... You are paying for the tire to the company and pocketing your huge upsells to yourself tech.... I shoulda let the car sit for a night and gone to a real and honest tire shop that had the same price offer for new warrantied tires with complete service and coverage .... 160$ burned... shoulda got the new tires somewhere else the next day. Their used tires that they offered were 9-10 years old and all the worker said over and over is they are good..... sure they are good enough to get off the side of the road and it was cheaper than a tow tbh as a slight positive. the only other positive.. they were extremely fast but when you skip most the work it makes sense. its easy to be fast when you dont actually do a real and total service in an specialized category.

I waited outside in my car. It took 14 minutes before anyone came to see what I needed. 4 guys just standing around not doing anything. Customer service needs to be better. I got a used tire and was charged $50. They are 24 so that is nice. All in all I got what I needed. Would only go back if Wal-Mart didn't have what I needed.
