I had a great experience with Safeway Auto Center as a first-time customer. When my car almost died in the middle of the road on a late rainy Saturday afternoon. I quickly pulled in near the Garden City Civic Arena and found this Safeway auto shop just a block away. I called the shop when it was about to close and asked for help. Nick promptly contacted a tow truck to bring my car to the shop. They started to work on my car first thing on Monday morning and found the alternator and battery needed to be replaced. Nick updated me with the details and gave me a reasonable quote. He also promised to get me back on the road the same day. When I stopped by to pick up my car on Monday afternoon, I had a nice chat with Nick. He was very nice to talk to and gave me tips on how to maintain the vehicle. I decided to ask Nick to do an oil change since my car was already there. While I was waiting for the oil change, I saw customers constantly coming and going. Nick's customer service was outstanding. From a small job like changing a turn signal bulb to doing repairs after an accident, Nick handled customers professionally and efficiently. When I was ready to pay for the oil change, Nick told me the oil change is free! I was very happy and grateful. I would bring my car to this shop if I needed any other repairs. Thank you, Nick.

This shop is amazing. After calling 8 places to replace my breaks, they were the lowest price in town. They offered me free shuttle service home and back to the garage to pick up my vehicle. The owner also found out how much I paid at another private shop for a starter replacement and showed me how I was charged more than double. He called the dealership to show me the cost of the part and how this shop charged more than the dealer would have for the work. I will exclusively be taking my vehicles here and recommend that you do the same.

I have taken my SUV in multiple times for a couple of different issues. One of the issues was a pretty expensive fix, yet Safeway charged me about half the price anyone else wanted to. The last issue I took it in for was an easy (we thought) diagnosis, and they were quick to identify the problem and fix it. However, after having my vehicle back a week or two, the problem returned. They were quick to tow my vehicle to the shop and look for the issue. It took a while (and a few return visits) to actually identify the problem, but they found it and made it right! I will say that their communication with updates could improve, but I do understand they are busy. Maybe they could use a receptionist...? Regardless, I will continue to give them my business! Everyone there has been so friendly and polite. Honestly, I would return just based on the fact that they make you feel like family.

Superb customer service. Zach was great! My step dad recommended them to me. My sons 2001 Ford Ranger wouldn’t start and had a few leaks (water pump, trans line hose and starter motor). Since it wouldn’t start up, they sent a tow truck at no cost, and once the work was done (the next day), they even picked him up to get his truck in time for work that evening. We are pleased all around. Car repairs are such a PITA and I know we can all relate, but Zach made it all as painless as possible. Even gave us a small, new customer discount. Even texted us a finance link - we didn’t use it, but I thought I worth it to mention here in case someone else has the need. I Highly recommend them based on our first impression and as a new customer, coming from Repair Once Auto. Thanks again!
