They found other electrical problems and solve those for me and informed me that my motor was bad and because I had a warranty, they went to bat for me with the warranty company and got me a replacement. Great place to take your vehicle if need work done. Mechanics are very knowledgeable and friendly. These guys saved me from over paying for some work another place said i needed done. Definitely recommend these guys. I will definitely use them again in the future, hopefully i dont have to come back for a while, but if i do i know they will treat me right.

My 2014 RAM 1500 broke down with a complex electrical problem not long after COVID had impacted the economy, so finding new, essential parts was virtually impossible. As the Dodge dealership troubleshot, waited on parts, attempted getting used parts and even manually rebuilding the harness, a lot of time passed. New problems arose with the vehicle. The dealership threw in the towel and asked me to come get the truck. At the suggestion of my brother, I had my truck towed to Stockdale Auto Electric (SAE). I had a long conversation with them about what a pain this was bound to be. They were not intimidated. They explained their process to me - which seemed very meticulous and scientific - and they were straightforward about the realities of pricing and expected time frames. Given the nearly two years that the dealership had the truck (and weighing the insane expense of buying a new truck instead), I accepted that this could take at least months and might be steep on price, but felt then as I feel now that it was more economical than the alternatives and therefore worthwhile. As SAE made progress over the weeks, they kept in contact with me. I was elated when they had the truck fixed and finished after 3-4 months and I now have it smogged, registered, and back on the road again. I’m ecstatic that these guys got me back into my ol’ truck and their subsequent explanations of the problems they pinned down were a happy conclusion to what was a big friggin’ riddle for a very long time. These guys are polite, professional, no-nonsense go-getters who will take the time and effort to methodically diagnose and resolve the electrical issues with your vehicle when even the dealership can’t get it. My advice to prospective customers: This is not fast food. It’s not a simple in-and-out oil change. These guys are problem solvers and miracle workers. To quote the movie “The Princess Bride,” I would remind you, “You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles.” These guys will get it knocked out. Maybe even sooner than later. Just be realistic with your expectations on the resolution of difficult problems. It takes time. I am very, very happy with these guys.

Couldn’t be happier with the service provided. These guys know their stuff, keep you in the loop, no surprises, made everything make since for me being that I am ignorant to their profession.
