Ron's Garage Customer Reviews

Scheduled an appointment for my wife's car. Going out of town this weekend and needed this done. Dropped off at 6:30am and asked them to order tires since the place I bought them did not deliver. All I needed is plugs changed, which I supplied and a transmission flush. Called at 3:00pm and continually no answer. Had someone take me to get car and car was parked in the same exact spot as I left it. Never had this experience before and one time leaves a bad impression and will not be back. I even recommended this place to many of my friends that I will steer away in the future.

Went there for my E-check, they said no appointment needed Monday through Friday. They were nice, helpfully and professional and had me out of there in less than 5 minutes! I'm so happy I gave them a chance!

I don’t recommend any repair work here. I took my car in for new brake pads and get a call that my total is $640! No courtesy call to let me know what they were going to do to my car. No call about consent after taking a look at what needed to be done. Absolutely unacceptable. In this economy you can’t do that to people without their knowledge. Your customers have a LEGAL RIGHT to know how much the repair will be BEFORE the mechanic works on it! And when I was rightfully upset at this, the person at the front desk gave me nothing but attitude and handled the situation unprofessionally. He even told me to go somewhere else next time ..I work across the street for an apartment community that I usually am happy to recommend this place to my residents. Not anymore.

I had my son's 2006 Hummer in there for an oil change and I also take my vehicles in for an e-check. Always a good experience.

Charged me $1150 dollars for 2 motor mounts and a break line, said my coolant cap was leaking but he'd give that to me for free since the bill was so high. Had my car for FIVE days. When I went up there to pick it up, the price was way more than we discussed, he also charged me for the coolant cap. I asked to see the two broken motor mounts before I left, he said they were already disposed of. ..so I asked if he could show me what all was done on my car. He said sure, I'll have a mechanic stop working on someone else's car to show you what he fixed on your car, I said great and pulled my car up and popped the hood. The mechanic was super cool he showed me most of what he did then asked me if they gave me an estimate for the other things that needed done. I said no, and looked behind us at the guy from the office that was standing there with his arms crossed and a sour look on his face. .. I won't be back, the counter guys customer service skills are TRASH. Its an auto shop not diva school, dude needs to chill.

Ask them to look at my car and see what was wrong with it. I would’ve gladly paid for labor. I told them I specifically just wanted to know what was wrong with it to see if it was worth salvaging or if I should just look at a new car Called me up a day later with a $400 bill for something that I didn’t ask to be done no courtesy call that they were doing it. How can I get a new car if I dump $400 into one I’m trying to get rid of if there’s too much wrong with it I got scammed. Basically Jerry rig a bunch of parts together to make it run better and charge me $400 for a spark plug in a coil That I didn’t ask to be put in there.
