RIMS & Tires services ; Auto Repair

Moved to Manhattan and planned to sell my car. I came to change the rims to “RIMS and tire services NJ” and have done a detailed washing in “RAMBO’s car detail” afterwards. Both was done in one afternoon and walk in, I walked around and had some pizza while the value of the car increased from 7000$ to 10000$ while spending total 785$ on the rims and 150$ for the detailed cleaning. Would recommend both to anyone moving here and selling their car.

Alberto gave me a great price and great service on a set of used tires for my truck. All old tires unmounted and a 4 “new” tires mounted in under an hour and that was with other customers getting work done as well. I highly recommend them!

Absolute scam. I drove 45 minutes from New York to get tires that that were advertised. I even spoke to Alberto the apparent manager to make sure he had them before I left and took the trip. I get to the shop, wait 30 minutes to even be spoken to then wait another 10 for them to go get “my tires” from down the street. Alberto advertised Bridgestone run flats and tried to install some no name brand regular tires. He tried to these for run flats assuming since I am a female that I wouldn’t know the difference. When I asked him about it he kept trying to push these regular tires. My car does not have a spare and I can’t use regular tires and would be an extreme safety hazard to not have run flats (as any tire expert should know). Instead of admitting he was wrong and false advertised, he kept trying to lower the price on tires I CANNOT USE. Absolutely 100% bait and switch to make money, meanwhile sending people on long trips and putting them in danger to make a few dollars. Alberto is a really terrible person with no morals. There’s Alberto there in the blue shirt if you’re wondering.

They said that they had my tire size. When I drove 1.5 hours there, they showed me one that's 16" instead of 15". I called him a few times and even texted him the size i needed! Very poor communication. Wasted all my time traveling there.
