I had to have new tires put on my vehicle. The staff was courteous and professional. They kept me up to date on the progress. I would recommend this location to anyone. And David, the manager, is amazing. Very knowledgeable and always working to make sure everything is done properly and in a timely manner. 👍👍👍

Great place and honest staff. They were helpful and when they found an issue they didn't push it so it doesn't feel salesy. I'll be back. I had to get a new catalytic converter for my 2008 Toyota Prius because I was the lucky guy to have it stolen. They installed it with no issues. I returned to the Advanced Auto Parts section to get new windshield wipers and the lady behind the counter got the windshield wipers and installed it for me. Now, I could install it without issue but it's nice she went above and beyond being behind the register. One of the other mechanics came by and checked the tires to make sure they were fully inflated for free as well. It was just nice they added those touches. I'll be coming here anytime I have any car issues. The only issue I have is this employee John with a stupid moustache. The guy isn't very friendly. Just gives this nasty attitude. If you don't want to work then quit.

Luichie and David are top tier at what they do. I have not a clue when it comes to cars and from beginning to end i was kept updated and informed about my brake job. They even took the time to explain to me how the parts move and work with each other. Highly recommend this shop honest and trustworthy guys!!

I've been coming here frequently for oil changes and quick tire fixes and it has been nothing but fantastic service. I had a battery died on me and it was at an inopportune hour but they were fantastic. David had been such a great help and took the time to explain a little more about the work done which is greatly appreciated.

I had a great experience at Mavis in North Bergen thanks to Mike! He was professional, friendly, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. The service was quick and efficient, and Mike made sure I felt confident about the work being done. It’s not always easy to find honest and knowledgeable people in auto service, but Mike definitely stands out. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re in the area

I came into Mavis for a set of 4 new tires and was taken care of by Richard. He was professional, knowledgeable, and transparent throughout the entire process. While inspecting my vehicle, the team flagged that my rear shocks needed replacement — which they backed up by pointing out the uneven wear (ridges) on my old tires and confirming the source of a humming noise I'd been hearing. I told Richard I had the ability to do the work myself — I’ve done control arms, inner and outer tie rods, oil changes, coolant flushes, etc. He acknowledged that I clearly had the skill set to take care of it on my own and didn't try to pressure me into anything. That honesty really stood out to me and built trust — it was a big part of why I ultimately decided to have Mavis do the work. After some back and forth (and verifying details with ChatGPT), it was clear the shop was being honest and looking out for my safety. They completed everything — new tires, rear shock replacement, alignment — in about 3 hours. The car drives smooth, the noise is gone, and I left feeling like I got quality work at a fair price. Nothing but praise for Richard and the team. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service.

First time Mavis. Excellent experience and service. Needed two new tires and booked online for next day appointment at 8am. Moments later I received a phone call from David confirming my appointment. During the confirmation phone call I asked David for his advice on the tires I had selected. He quickly looked up the tires I selected and compared them to another model which he highly recommended. David reassured me when I went in for my service he would show me both tires. Next day, David greeted me, remembered who I was and proceeded to show me the tires before I made a decision. The entire experience was amazing. David is definitely a gem. His demeanor evokes confidence, expertise and empathy. As long as David is here I will be coming back without question.
