I was heading north on the 101 in my F350 and blew out the radiator going up Gaviota pass. Called Rich’s and they happen to have my radiator. I babied the truck to their location. I changed out the radiator and was on the road within 2 hours. I’m so glad these guys had the part. They were great to work with. After speaking to Rich and his mechanics I’ve decided this is where I will bring my truck.

I had the good fortune to break down on my way from Encinitas to the Central Coast on a much needed camping trip. I was able to get a site for my trailer at Flying Flags and first thing Monday morning I dropped my truck off at Rick’s. I left relieved after Rick and his Cummins specialist went over possible solutions to getting me back on the road. Truck was ready by the afternoon and I can’t thank them enough. Extremely honest, competent and very fair with billing. It’s also comforting to know that on my travels I have them if truck acts up.

Rich's Performance Diesel truly went above and beyond to get me back on the road while on a trip for Thanksgiving. My 2003 F250 6.0 broke down right outside Buellton, CA (2 days before thanksgiving) and I called Rich's Performance Diesel before AAA had my truck on the flatbed. Got it dropped off late Tuesday and Rich and his crew had me back on the road early Wednesday afternoon just in time for Thanksgiving. Ended up being a seized Unison ring. Turbo was pulled apart and cleaned as well as new intercooler boots installed. Very happy with the work done on the truck and for a reasonable price despite the last minute work request. I would use Rich's shop again if I'm ever in the area.

My husband and I driving home from Cambria to Phx. The exhaust regen message came on in our dodge diesel, which usually takes a few minutes to go off, just stayed on along with a check engine light. Not sounding good. We stopped at a dodge dealership to just ask if they could diagnose scan and they were so rude and obnoxious we left , hoping to find another dealership soon . We pulled off near Buelton and saw two guys sitting at a table outside a roadside store having coffee. My husband mentioned our woes, and they told us about Rich’s Diesel Performance. We pulled I there , told them what was going on, a very knowledgeable and nice mechanic came out , put his scanner on the truck ( took 2 minutes) cleared the lights and we were back on the road with peace of mind. No charge!! Thank you so much! Honesty and integrity still exist in this world. This business is a class act!!!! 👍👍
