Resurrection Recon LLC Introduce
Located at 1357 Kershaw Hwy, Camden, SC 29020, USA, Resurrection Recon LLC operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. While the name "Resurrection Recon LLC" might suggest a focus on vehicle restoration or specialized automotive work, the customer feedback provided indicates significant concerns regarding the quality of services rendered. They can be reached by phone at (803) 432-0155 or +1 803-432-0155.
Based on the highly critical reviews, the actual environment and atmosphere at Resurrection Recon LLC appear to be a point of considerable contention for past clients. While a professional auto repair or restoration shop typically aims for a clean, organized, and transparent working environment, the customer comments suggest a disconnect between the perception of professionalism (as implied by their "bragging" videos) and the reality of the work delivered. The reviews describe situations where expensive projects resulted in "sloppy work" and vehicles returning in unsatisfactory conditions. This strongly implies an environment where quality control may be lacking, leading to customer frustration and a breakdown of trust, rather than the reassuring atmosphere expected from a service provider handling high-value vehicle projects.
From the provided reviews, Resurrection Recon LLC appears to offer services centered around vehicle customization, restoration, and potentially general automotive repair, specifically:
- Vehicle Painting: Multiple instances mention paint jobs, with customers citing two vehicles that "had to be redone" due to poor quality. This indicates that painting is a core service, but the execution has been problematic.
- Total Restoration Services: One review explicitly mentions a "total restore" project for a 1959 Ford, implying comprehensive restoration work, which would typically include bodywork, paint, mechanical, and interior aspects. However, the customer expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the outcome.
- Interior Work (Seats): There's a specific mention of an "interior guy" redoing seats for a 1968 Ford Bronco, costing a significant amount but resulting in unusable seats. This points to offering custom interior upholstery or restoration services.
- Vehicle Builds and Engine Work: One review details a "build" that cost nearly $22,000, and critically, the car broke down shortly after delivery due to a "bad engine with blown head gaskets." This indicates that they undertake more extensive mechanical work, potentially involving engine swaps or significant powertrain modifications.
The company's focus, as implied by the term "Recon" (reconnaissance or recondition/reconstruction), and the services highlighted in the reviews, suggest an ambition to handle complex, high-value custom automotive projects. However, the consistent negative feedback critically challenges their ability to deliver these services to an acceptable standard.
Based solely on the provided customer feedback, it is challenging to identify "strengths" in the traditional sense, as the reviews are overwhelmingly negative. The customers' experiences highlight severe weaknesses rather than positive features:
- Lack of Quality Workmanship: This is the most prominent feature, described with phrases like "sloppy work," "bad engine," "looking like this," and "no where near quality restoration." Vehicles reportedly came back in worse condition or required immediate re-work after thousands of dollars were spent.
- Disregard for Customer Satisfaction: The response to dissatisfaction ("OH WELL") and the alleged ownership issues ("he don't even own the shop he work out of") point to a lack of accountability and concern for customer experience once payment is received.
- Inconsistent Professionalism: Customers contrast the company's "bragging" videos about being "professional" with the actual poor quality of work, indicating a significant disparity between their marketing and their delivery.
- High Costs for Low Quality: Customers report spending "thousands of dollars" (e.g., $1500 for seats, almost $15000 for paint, almost $22k for a build) only to receive unsatisfactory or damaging results.
The reviews strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution and verify claims independently. The mention of potential legal issues and the difficulty of recourse (due to alleged lack of shop ownership by the individual performing the work) are critical warnings for anyone considering their services.
No specific promotional offers, discounts, or marketing campaigns are mentioned in the provided reviews. Instead, the "promotional information" comes in the form of the customers' direct warnings and shared experiences, which serve as an inverse promotion, advising against using their services. The reviews themselves act as a very strong "do not recommend" message. Customers specifically mention "videos out bragging on being a professional," which could be interpreted as their form of self-promotion, yet this is directly contradicted by the delivered results. Given the severity of the complaints, potential customers should prioritize thoroughly vetting any automotive service provider, especially for high-cost restoration or build projects. Relying on positive claims without concrete evidence of quality, such as inspecting prior work firsthand or consulting multiple references, would be highly risky based on this feedback.
In conclusion, Resurrection Recon LLC, located at 1357 Kershaw Hwy, Camden, SC 29020, USA, and reachable at (803) 432-0155, operates as an "Auto Repair Station" that undertakes complex automotive projects including painting, interior work, and full vehicle builds. However, based on the provided customer reviews, there are significant and severe concerns regarding the quality of workmanship, customer satisfaction, and overall business practices. Potential clients are strongly cautioned to review all available information, including these critical testimonials, and consider alternative service providers for their automotive needs, particularly for high-value restoration or repair projects.

Resurrection Recon LLC Customer Reviews
I would not recommend this place to anyone ... I didn't even want to give them one star but I couldn't post without it... He painted two vehicles and both had to be redone.. This 1959 Ford came back in just this condition yet he brags about the job he did on it and says he did a total restore.. I will not put anything here that you can't see in these photos but there is so much more that he messed up on this car... To spend thousands of dollars to have a job done and to get something like this back is no way acceptable... Especially when this company puts videos out bragging on being a professional... You decide yourself from these photos... But as stated above this is the second vehicle he has messed up that I have seen first hand and that my husband has had to fix mistakes and sloppy work after they were paid thousands to paint them... We also had his interior guy that he brags on to redo seats for us at a cost of $1500 for a 1968 Ford bronco he was restoring... They were so bad we had to throw them away and get new ones... When confronted with them they we were not satisfied and showed them how bad they were it was as OH WELL Our loss These people do not understand the true meaning of restoration... When you care enough about a vehicle to pay thousands of dollars to get a total restore you expect Quality work on everything inside and outside.. No half a** work... Again you be the judge on this 1959... My husband fixed what he could get done as we are taking it to Kentucky for a while... But when it comes back it will get a total restore and I will post photos of what quality work is suppose to look like.. This sure isn't no where near quality restoration... As a business owner I would be ashamed for any vehicle to come out of my shop looking like this but especially a car someone paid almost $15000 to have painted and redone looking like this... Again look yourself... Contact me if you have doubts.. But these pics don't lie.. Hope this saves someone from spending good money for a low class job...

I have been taking my vehicles to Resurrection for years, a red 2010 impala, white 2016 silverado ,and now a white 2020 ram 2500. He never cease to amaze me with the work he does.
