Redlich Transmissions

Had an oil change done on my Jeep at Valvoline in Austintown. Upon completing the oil change they informed me that my Jeep had a minor transmission leak and my oil pan was rusty. I called Redlich as my vehicle still being under warranty was covered and they had me bring it in for a road test. The mechanic who road tested the vehicle looked for leaks under it and looked under the hood. They informed me that my Jeep did not have one of the problem transmissions and the transmission was actually manufactured by Mercedes, that there is no leak and that the car would probably rust out before the transmission stopped working. Thanks for saving me time and hassle Redlich!

I took my car there for a transmission fluid change. It was a clean establishment. The mechanic and the men at the front counter were very nice and pleasant to talk to. The time went by very quickly. I highly recommend this business if you need anything done with your transmission.

I am Nigerian. , not black. The tone Bob used with me was offening. Systematic racism at it best. He been doing it a long time. I was quoted $3700 for a new 4l80 for my utility truck. I wasn't complaining as I need my truck fixed asap. But Bob was more worried about the credit card fees, fees that I had no problem paying. And they wanted my ID to match my card and some extra b.s. I was going to leave the truck but I didn't like his approach. And h said it would take 10 days, took it to Amco paid $7400 and got a new transmission put in 48 hours.

A reputable business that operates on honesty and transparency. I brought my vehicle in for an oil leak coming from my rear main seal and some transmission issues. They were honest with me that the cost would be high because of all the work involved and recommended a few shops and mechanics that could do it cheaper. My car is old and has over 200k miles so all the money I would have to put in to fix would be more than the car is worth. They even double checked my transmission issue and said it’s likely an engine issue, which was bigger than I thought. Also want to mention that they thoroughly check your vehicle for any issues stated and outside of anything mentioned to rule out possibilities. Before I left, the owner had the mechanic take it for another test drive to confirm some issues. He also pointed out that the Dodge dealership didn’t even take it out for a test drive since he looked at my dealer report and noticed the miles in and out were exactly the same. I highly recommend Redlich Transmission to anyone. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

They fought for me!!!! Great experience. They took great care in trying to resolve the problem with my car even when the warranty company tried to say the problem didn't exist.. They were diligent in making the warranty Company live up to there contract. I really appreciate the service and persistence. My car is now running great and I took a 6 hour trip with confidence that the transmission will have no problems.

My Express cargo van with the Certified remanufactured 4l80e feels like new!!! The manager explained the whole process thoroughly and follow up communication was excellent. The owner of the shop gave me a ride after dropping off my vehicle, and the technician showed me everything that was going on with the install. I wouldn’t bring a light truck with transmission issues to anyone but Redlich Transmissions. Thank you gentlemen !

Was shocked at the price of a transmission replacement. Redlich quoted $5,000. So I called a local Ford dealer for a price. They quoted $6,700. Redlich saved us the extra $$$. They offered for us to come in two months after the install for a free check-up. Just to make sure everything was OK.
