Superman is in Metropolis! I was driving from Chicago to Florida to bring a generator down because we had no power from the Hurricane. My car broke down on Saturday afternoon and every place I called was closed to Monday. I wasn’t sure I was going to make it. Ralf was able to work on my car immediately and got me back on my way. He took pride in everything he did and explained it to me in a way that I could understand easily. Best car repair I ever had. I wish there were more people like him. Thank you and God bless.

All I can say is AMAZING!! I’m a traveling nurse. I was on my way home to NC from Oregon. I thought my back brakes went out… Nope, it was my Caliper. Ralf figured it out quickly and got me back on the road safely!! Ralf went above and beyond to make sure my car was right for my drive home. Took 3 hrs out of his busy Saturday to help me. A complete stranger. Thank you Ralf!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

Just want to say thank you for all the work you put in my vehicle he is the best mechanical in metropolis he will be upfront with you about the problem about your vehicle he will get you back on the road as fast as he can and his price are really good so in the future I'll be going back to him for oil changes in other work on my vehicle when needed thank you very much if I could I would give you 10 Stars if they let me

Ralf is an absolute treasure. He is upfront, honest, knows what he’s doing and goes above and beyond to help you. I broke down on my way back to Nashville from a dead alternator and was recommended to go to him as it was a Sunday evening and he very kindly took his time (on Super Bowl Sunday!) to help me. Within a moments notice he went and found an alternator, drove to pick it up himself, and let us come straight to him to replace it in a very timely fashion. He was transparent through the whole process and was super helpful with questions I had in the days following about other issues my car had that needed addressing. If he were in Nashville he would be my go to guy!

Ralf really helped us out with balancing and installing a new tire on our car tonight. We were on our way home to Illinois and had a flat at our hotel in Paducah. He went above and beyond with helping us locate a tire for our car. It's nice to know that there are people like Ralf. We are so grateful.

I broke down from transmission issues on the highway at 5pm on a Saturday and thought I was shit out of luck until someone recommended I try Ralf’s Automotive. I figured I would try my luck as nowhere else was open, and I am so glad I did!!! As soon as he got in the car, Ralf immediately pinpointed the issue and then verified it by running a diagnostic test on the vehicle. Turns out a part of my transmission that I had gotten replaced by a dealership less than two years ago had completely broken from being installed poorly. Ralf sat with me for an hour and talked to me about my car while I waited for a friend to come get me, and I left with a quote of about $1700 for the same exact service and parts that the dealership had charged me over $3000 for. After about a week of steady communication and updates, I picked up my car and it had never driven better!! There is an angel living in Metropolis, Illinois and his name is Ralf!
