I first brought my 2007 ford to a location in Manhattan and although the engine light was not on they came up with a code about airflow valves- the car was hesitating so I allowed them to proceed to repair it - $460.00 later I needed to bring the car back and again it was not repaired - they even smeared grease on my front fender t the two times that I picked it up as if they were doing real- work - this is when I decided to bring it to Rafi’s auto repair in Brooklyn- after an extensive attempt including hooking up a machine to test the pressure on my fuel pump to test driving it not once but twice - Rafi himself advised that he could not find anything wrong - so he gave me a catalytic converter cleaner and advised me to put premium gas in the tank- and he did not charge me for his services - although I gave him whatever cash in my pocket I had it certainly was not enough for his great and honest advice -after several treatments with a catalytic converter cleaner and premium gas - my car car has been running excellent- i would absolutely recommend this location for any auto repair you may be in need of - it’s very rare to find an honest and knowledgeable auto technician that truly puts the customers needs ahead of profit - thank Rafi ! I am grateful to have met with you and I will always bring any car I own to you as long as I live within the 5 boroughs-

I have been going to rafi's for years because I always know they will be honest with me. The first time I went to them my car died right near there last location, I had no idea why. After a few minutes they come out and say it's only a fuse issue. They changed the fuse and did not charge me. I had no idea what was wrong they could have said anything and I would have believed it. Now I am a loyal customer for years!!

Rafi auto shop is the best one in Brooklyn! Rafi will never ripped you off like other mechanics do. Prices are reasonable and please make sure to arrive early, is a first come first serve.

We were referred to Rafi by a collision place my friend worked for. They do fast work, reasonable prices, they don't pressure you to do work. They advise what's wrong, what's best but leave it up to you if you want the work or not. Other places make you think you HAVE to do work they recommend. We took our car to the dealership for a fluid check up, we paid over $500 in parts and labor. Went to rafi's for an oil change and get an estimate for another job. We did the oil change and had to go back because he had to order a part. So when we went back to have work done, we asked him to do it and that's when he told us he checked last week and we were fine. No extra charges. Show up early if you need Saturday work. People start lining up 730-8am.
