Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford Introduce

Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford, situated at 33300 Ford Rd, Westland, MI 48185, USA, functions as an integral "Auto Repair Station" within a larger dealership framework. This facility is designed to provide swift and convenient maintenance and light repair services for all makes and models, not just Ford vehicles. For direct contact, customers can reach them at (734) 524-1200 or +1 734-524-1200.

The environment at Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford typically features a dedicated service center with multiple bays for quick service, a customer waiting area, and a parts counter. As part of a larger dealership, it benefits from the infrastructure and resources of North Brothers Ford, which usually means a professional, clean, and organized setting. While specific details on the waiting room amenities are not provided, Quick Lane facilities are generally equipped to offer a comfortable space for customers during short waits, often with Wi-Fi and refreshments. The operational environment is geared towards efficiency, aiming to get vehicles in and out quickly, a characteristic feature of the Quick Lane model.

Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford offers a streamlined menu of common vehicle maintenance and repair services. While the prompt mentions "car wash" in the context of the business name, the primary services provided by Quick Lane are focused on rapid automotive upkeep. Based on the customer reviews, these services prominently include:

  • **The Works® Oil Change:** This comprehensive service typically includes a synthetic blend oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, fluid top-off (including washer fluid), battery test, filter check, and a multi-point inspection. This is a core offering for Quick Lane locations.
  • **Tire Services:** This encompasses tire rotations, repairs (though one review suggests potential issues with specific tire types), and likely tire sales and installation.
  • **Headlight Replacement:** As specifically mentioned in a review, indicating they handle common lighting component replacements.
  • **Fluid Checks and Top-offs:** Including windshield washer fluid, as noted in a customer's experience. This is part of their routine maintenance packages.
  • **Vehicle Inspections:** Comprehensive checks to identify current and potential issues with the vehicle's various systems.
Beyond these, Quick Lane generally offers a range of routine maintenance services such as battery tests and replacements, brake inspections and repairs, and wiper blade replacement. While not a standalone car wash in the traditional sense, they often offer a complimentary car wash with certain services, as indicated by a customer review, highlighting this as an added value.

Several features distinguish Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford. One significant feature is their emphasis on **convenience and speed**, a core tenet of the Quick Lane brand. They aim to provide efficient service for routine maintenance tasks without requiring an appointment. The offering of a **mobile service** for oil changes, allowing customers to have their vehicle serviced from their driveway, is a particularly noteworthy and convenient feature that sets them apart from many traditional auto repair stations. This demonstrates an effort to adapt to customer needs and provide flexible service options.

Another feature is the **inclusion of a complimentary car wash** with certain services, such as headlight replacement. This adds value to the service package, although customer feedback suggests the execution of this feature can sometimes be inconsistent. The availability of **on-site repair capabilities** within a dealership setting means they have access to genuine OEM parts for Ford vehicles, though they service all makes and models.

However, customer reviews also highlight significant areas of concern regarding service consistency and customer experience. These points serve as important features for potential customers to consider:

  • **Inconsistent Service Delivery:** One customer experienced issues with fluids not being topped off (specifically washer fluid) as part of "the works" oil change, leading to dissatisfaction. This suggests a potential lack of thoroughness in completing all promised tasks within a service package.
  • **Poor Communication and Timeliness:** Multiple reviews indicate a severe lack of communication, with customers needing to call for updates rather than receiving proactive communication. Extended waiting times for updates, shuttles, and payment processing are also highlighted, contradicting the "Quick Lane" promise.
  • **Unfulfilled Promises:** The instance where a customer paid for headlight replacement and was offered a free wash, but neither was done correctly (or at all, for the wash), points to a critical failure in delivering on promised services.
These inconsistencies in service execution and customer communication are significant features that impact the overall reliability and customer trust, leading some customers to express a desire to seek service elsewhere.

While specific promotional information is not detailed in the provided reviews, Quick Lane locations, being part of the larger Ford network, typically offer various promotions to attract and retain customers. These often include:

  • **The Works® Package Deals:** Regular pricing or special offers on their signature oil change and multi-point inspection package.
  • **Tire Promotions:** Discounts, rebates, or financing options on new tire purchases.
  • **Brake Service Specials:** Promotional pricing on brake inspections and repairs.
  • **Seasonal Maintenance Offers:** Discounts on services relevant to specific times of the year, such as battery checks in winter or A/C checks in summer.
  • **Online Coupons:** Frequently available on their official websites, offering savings on various services.
These promotions are designed to provide value and encourage customers to utilize Quick Lane for their routine maintenance needs. However, the effectiveness of such promotions is inherently tied to the consistent delivery of quality service, as highlighted by customer feedback.

In conclusion, Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford in Westland, MI, operates as an "Auto Repair Station" focused on providing express maintenance and light repair services, including comprehensive oil changes, tire services, and other essential vehicle care. While they offer convenient features like mobile service and aim for quick turnarounds, customer reviews indicate significant challenges with inconsistent service execution, poor communication, and extended waiting times. Potential customers should weigh the convenience of their offerings against the reported inconsistencies in service delivery when considering Quick Lane for their automotive needs. Their commitment to offering a wide array of services and often including a car wash is a clear benefit, but the actual experience can vary.

Quick Lane at North Brothers Ford Customer Reviews

I needed an oil change. I was going to bring my vehicle up there, but they offered to do it from my driveway with their mobile service. I had a low washer fluid before I got my oil change - "the works". My light was off when I came home, 2 days later, my car tells me it's low on washer fluid again, and I haven't even used it all, but maybe once. Now since I was at work, I don't, think that they did anything else they were supposed to outside of an oil change. I've had my lease for over a year, and my first low washer fluid was right before my oil change. I bought fluid and used almost the entire gallon for my car. Tf am I paying you for if you can't do your job??? I'll stick to the one in Livonia. At least they are reliable and do what they claim is in the package.

I've been taking my car here since 2019 and it seems to get worse with every visit. You will drop your car off and you will have to call them the next day for an update or you will hear nothing. Paid for headlight replacement and they offered free wash. You can see from the pictures that neither of those things happened. You wait forever in the waiting room for the shuttle, you wait forever for an update on your car, and then you wait forever to pay. If you value your time or money go somewhere else.

Absolutely the best service I have ever received at a place for car service. I stopped by just to have the air in my tires checked and Stephan topped off the fluids as well as gave me a free car wash. The manager Jason also stopped to talk to me to make sure I had the best service possible. I am going to make this Quick Lane my new home for service. Thank you so much for the outstanding service! Highly recommend

Made an appointment on my day off so i could pick it up and drop a different car off and make an appointment i had at 4. Oil change, recall and fix alignment issue. 6.5 hrs later the call was no suspention problem and nothing else was done yet. I knew it wasnt suspension and then i was told it was probably not balanced. I know what that feels like too. It was an alignment issue that their machines couldnt detect. I had to leave it until my appt was over and get it after hours. I had alignment done that resolved issue next day at belle tire. Salesman dave is great!!

North Bros. Ford, Inc. 33300 Ford Rd, Westland, MI 48185 Awful experience. I bought 4 new tires here 3 weeks ago. The service was absolutely horrible. I drove out of the service center at 6 pm, and the following morning, I noticed a quarter-sized bulge in the sidewall of my front driver-side tire. I called the service center to let them know and they told me to bring it in. They looked at it and said there was nothing they could do for me. They said it was my fault. In addition to this, they overcharged me. I was told I would receive a reimbursement for the overcharge via snail mail. It’s been over two weeks and I have yet to receive the check. I spoke to the quick lane manager regarding the missing check and also informed him of my negative experience. He told me I could bring my car in anytime (without an appt) and he would replace the defective tire. I would like to add I was never offered the “tire care” plan to protect my tires if something happened ($30 extra per tire). I asked the manager if I could add the plan—since it was not offered at the time of purchase. When I showed up at the dealer today, and asked for the manager, he told me he could not replace the tire—that they were “too busy.” I also asked about the tire plan and he informed me that he called FORD and they said I cannot add it after the purchase. It was never offered to me at the time of purchase! I had to call to reschedule my appt and there was no record of my appt. I would never go here again.
