I needed to get my car checked up before going on a road trip to Vegas. They had most of the basic parts ready for the appointment. I was so impressed because they usually diagnose any kind of problems before ordering parts. That always takes extra waiting but they were different! It only took about an hour, whereas it would’ve taken several hours at the body shop I used to go in SF. It is such a meticulous and time-efficient place! I’m definitely going back if anything is needed for my car.

Had some seriously worn rotors and brake pads, Jay took about 10 seconds to diagnose that, then quoted me a fair price with parts+labor. He even promised to be done a few hours later, but finished early and let me know. What a pro.

Jay is a very skilled guy and has awesome prices. This man can literally fix anything on a car. I had broken my car radio, he was able to install a new radio at a awesome price. He even fixed my driver seat chair, that was broken. This man really knows how to tackle cars, like no other. He really looks out for the community and his customers. He's been working on my vehicles for 10 year..now. I will always support this business.

I wish Jay and the Quality Auto crew the best, but I won't be bringing my car back, nor recommending them to friends. Getting in touch with them has been difficult over the years and while I've had some amazing service, I've also had a non compliant exhaust system installed, requiring even more money to replace with the help of a friend. Others have had great service though, so your mileage may vary.

I have been coming to Jay for many many years. He always diagnoses the issue precisely, avoiding extra cost for us. Even recently, I took my Acura TL for repair, it mysteriously stopped as if the engine gave up on me, but Jay identified it was a faulty head motor and for reasonable price he fixed and my car runs fine, even after a week of testing. It's hard to find good and reasonable mechanics and that's why I took the effort to write this review. I have also referred many friends of mine to Jay. Keep up the good work Jay!!
