Kip is a very deep well of knowledge about these vans, that and common sense spiced with a sense of humor makes bringing your van here a pleasure; which is not normal for a mechanic’s shop. We left the shop with a heightened appreciation for the simplicity and durability of these vehicles and great confidence that we can actually pull off our madcap travel plans. Kip makes owning a Promaster a stress free experience.

Took my work van there yesterday when the alternator failed and the battery too. Kip, by some miracle, was not terribly busy and fit me in. He accomplished in two hours what the dealer took 8 days to do on my last van. Would 100% recommend him to anyone needing repairs on a Promaster. Even if you have it towed 500 miles to his shop, you will probably be better off.

Absolutely top notch!! Had the local dealer in NC wanting to replace 3 components of the cooling system to repair a suspected coolant leak. Kip quickly discovered was not a coolant leak at all, rather a transmission fluid leak which he quickly repaired along with some other recommended maintenance. Extremely fair pricing, but most importantly you can trust what he tells you. If my van can make it to OH, Kip will be doing any future repairs. What a gem to find an honest, competent (and funny) mechanic.

Excellent service, what more can I say. The man knows his stuff. Would recommend 100% if you have a promaster. Will be my go to whenever I’m in town, wish I lived closer.

ProMasters Only is a must-follow for any Ram ProMaster owner. Kip’s videos are packed with useful info, and his thermostat replacement tip saved me from a serious overheating issue. I followed his advice and installed the aluminum Dorman 902-3036XD with the 186° thermostat, and now my van runs much cooler — topping out at 222.8°F on long 6% grades, even with the A/C on. Before the swap, it was hitting 240°F and forcing me to pull over. Kip doesn’t just explain the fix — he gives you the confidence to do it right. One of the most helpful tools he’s created is the ProMasters Only app, which lets you monitor coolant temps, transmission temps, pressures, and check engine codes right from your phone. It’s been a game-changer for keeping my van running safely in the mountains. If you own a ProMaster, you owe it to yourself to check out Kip’s content and his app. He’s built an incredibly valuable resource for the community! - Jesse

Kip is a highly versatile and practical in his approach to Promasters. He's a great mechanic, but even more valuable than that is that he's not gonna swindle you. He got my van fixed the same day I brought it to him from Columbus and he didn't charge me arm and a leg. I literally took a nap in his shop while he worked on my van. And of course, he's a great Star Trek enthusiast so that also helped build credibility. lol Overall, my van was misfiring and was making a lot of noise. However, with just patching up some hoses to take care of leakage and adding power stearing fluid...the van was good to go. I rather go to Kip from Columbus than have an unreliable mechanic shop touch my van from now. ty Kip.
