AVOID THIS SHOP. Had my Toyota 4runner towed to this shop after breaking down in NYC. They changed my alternator out but when I got my car back the next day the drivers door master switch did not work and my rear window would not roll down. After returning home to PA, my car broke down again so I had it towed to a Toyota dealership where I received a full video of the diagnostic revealing all the problems from Prima Automotive. They told me the alternator was not installed properly, the battery terminals were not attached properly, and not only were there fuses in the wrong spot but there were MISSING fuses. After calling the shop to inform them of this and see what can be done, I was aggressively told that I'm "telling stories" and that it's my fault for not having it towed back to their shop... in NYC... After informing him that I do in fact have video proof of their malpractice, he said "do what you gotta do then" and hung up on me. Did they change my alternator within 24 hours? Yes Did they give my car back to me with more problems? Yes Unprofessional, rude, and an obvious display of disregard for their customers safety. Avoid this spot at all costs.

Amazing service, one of the few honest places left around these parts. Sometimes it's tough to communicate with Nick when he's busy working, so I recommend texting him. But that aside, he's the best there is around here and doesn't finish until the problem is sorted to your satisfaction.

Called for a preferred time to bring in my car for an inspection. Guy who happened to pick up the phone was rude but did manage to arrange for a time the next day. Brought in the car at the agreed time, and one of the mechanics (sounded like the guy on the phone from the day before) is just incredibly miserable and ill-mannered. Not sure what his issue is but was just overall awful since the moment I showed up. After waiting a few minutes, whoever actually did the inspection was fine. The process was speedy and I got out of there within a few minutes. I can't imagine I would ever go back and have to deal with that particular employee again, especially with the number of options available in the area.
